I was looking for a small two ten cab for travel gigs with my band. We play about 200 plus shows a year and I needed something small but something that could handle my Eden WT550. This cab does the job. I actually bought one of these and in the back of my mind I thought it was too good to be true because of the price. So, I then paid more than $800 for a two ten Epifani cab. The Epifani was great... but it sounded just like the Behringer. No offense to the folks who make "higher end" cabs but I think we're moving into a time where you can get much more bang for your buck. With that said, I now own 3 of these two ten cabs. And I STILL haven't paid more than I did when I bought the one Epifani cab. I have owned and played through many different cabs ( Eden, Trace, GK, Peavey, Fender, Epifani, Mark Bass) The two ten Behringer holds up to all of them. You can't beat the price! If you're thinking about getting one of these... do it!!!I use custom made Avatar cabs now but the Behringers still hold a special place in my low end heart!

This would be a good cabinet for someone just starting out and playing a four string. I plugged it into my rig and the first note off the B string of my Spector just flopped out and died. The tweeter works well and it's nice that it's switchable but the cabinet just doesn't seem to be able to handle the low frequencies of a 5 string. The wheels sound like a nice feature but because of the handle being so low on the cabinet, they don't really do a lot of good. The cabinet wobbles back and forth when you try to roll it from a standing position. I use a Behringer PA head, and our guitarist uses one of their amps in reharsals with good success, but for an experienced, gigging bass player this is probably not the cabinet of choice.Musician's Friend's return policy is awesome though! I called them requesting a return, they asked me why and I told them, then they emailed me a return shipping lable. I packed up the cabinet (save your boxes) in the original packaging, slapped the lable on and sent it off. No hassles, great customer service!

worth more than what the price is

By mikesmith009

Itsounds pretty good, but if you are gonna get this i suggest a good head. I usually run through my Behringer BX4500H Ultrabass Bass Head, and it sounds pretty good. Don't turn it up on the head past about 8, or it starts to rattle, but other than that, its a great cab. and the price is good too. i might get another one.

Great Cab for the price

Solid build and solid tone

This cab is a tank! I fell down some cement stairs with it and landed on it and all it did was scuff the plastic corners. The carpet covering is excellent and keeps the cab looking new, no peeling or cracked leather... The tone from this cab is punchy and capable of 5-string performance, and with 600 watts of handling there is no worries of blowing a speaker. My one qualm, the tweeter. It sounds good until it blows, and it will blow if used during slap or hard picking. Best to leave it off or just go finger style with it on.

Great value for small budget

By SlappBass13

from Elgin, SC

The cab is a great value for a small budget bassist like myself. The cab has solid bass and great midrange. The horn that is built in does hiss though, I don't know how to make it stop if anyone does email me. It isn't very noticeable when playing in an ensemble. The cab can't handle a lot of bass at first it sounds distorted, but after the speakers wear in after a few hours of play they can handle more bass. I am also a little unsure if the cab can really handle 600 watts. I wouldn't bet money on it. Overall for small gigs and practice it rocks for the price. Get the 15" cab with this one and rock out!!!

Excellent, warm, smooth tone

I use this cabinet with the BX3000T bass amplifer. I am very impressed with the warm, consistent tone that this combination offers. The price is more than reasonable for the quality and features you get. I am very satisfied with this product.

This cab kicks ass

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

This little quater stack looks tiny but gives out a tremendous sound. You have 600 watts to work with, it's sweet. If you like the hardcore bass sound, this is for you. The music I play with it include bands like slipknot, in flames, cradle of filth, and dream theater.

Rock on Behringer!!!

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

Well, first I would like to address how some are complaining about its low-end capibilites. This thing handles them great! It can easily handle low B, and blows away low A! Anyways, it handles anything you can give it, even the highs. It handles most pedals, just not some phaser pedals. BUY IT!

Looks good, but not reliable

By Serpents

from St. Louis, MO

I bought this cab along with the new Behringer 450-watt head; it didn't make it through my first band rehearsal with it. Halfway through a mid-volume rehearsal, I absolutely destroyed one speaker, with a passive bass even. Thus far, my experience with Behringer products has been less than stellar.

punchy

By AtomicDogsBass

from Riverside CA

I really didn'y expect such punchy tone from a paper cone cab. The tweeter is plenty loud, but it does hiss alot. I have an older model without Speakon or an out jack but I love this cab. It is SOOO inexpensive. I've been using it with the BX4500H head and a Dean Markley K-200b cab, it sounds great.
