Comments about Behringer Vintage Time Machine VM1 Analog Delay/Echo/Chorus/Vibrato Effects Pedal:

Had this for about a year and has held up well to some serious abuse. It is definitely not a Memory Man but at half the price it's more than a one trick pony. You can tweak it from open airy hall reverb to "The Edge" delay/echo to subtle slapback. POst effect Chorus adds a subtle shimmer and warble to your tone which is very nice when used clean or with a touch of overdrive. The Vibrato adds that classic tape warble like early Beatles recordings. With the Delay cranked down and the Vibrato cranked up you get a nice subtle pulsing that works great for Folk/Blues.

Comments about Behringer Vintage Time Machine VM1 Analog Delay/Echo/Chorus/Vibrato Effects Pedal:

It would be really difficult to clone a Deluxe Memory Man. If that's what you want then save up and get the real thing. The VM-1 is not without its charm though. You can overdrive it into distortion, crank up the feeback and play with the delay speed to make some cool spacey effects, very psychedelic. A little slap back and some chorus will fatten up an electric piano or clean guitar sound nicely.

Comments about Behringer Vintage Time Machine VM1 Analog Delay/Echo/Chorus/Vibrato Effects Pedal:

This is a very inexpensive and versatile analog delay. It does what analog delays do, with the 'bonus' of the tremolo/chorus (which are a little sketchy - buy it for the delay NOT those effects.) Complaints about the feedback are from people who don't understand how to use an analog delay - that happens with every one I've ever used in the past if you push it past its limits. It comes with its own power supply (does NOT take batteries, folks!) and is a little on the big side. Is a bit noisy when switching between clean/effect, but since I plan on using it for recording guitar the effect is either in or out so it doesn't matter to me. You can use it live, just be aware of the switching noise 'click'

Comments about Behringer Vintage Time Machine VM1 Analog Delay/Echo/Chorus/Vibrato Effects Pedal:

I have had this pedal for a couple of years now and still use it every time I play my guitar. It is basically Behringer's response to the EHX Memory Man but at a fraction of the cost. This pedal provides true analog delay and gives you complete control of it. I don't use the chorus/vibrato as much because I prefer just straight analog delay. The only con is that it is a bit bulky, but then again so is a Memory Man. I would recommend this pedal to anyone looking for legit analog delay on a budget.
