It doesn't matter what you plug into this thing it will sound incredible Vintage 30 speakers are hands down the best. The only issue I have is the cheap intput panel on the back of this thing plastic nuts never appeal to me.

Great Heavy Duty Cab

I have owned this cab for over 4 years now, recorded, gigged and toured heavily with this bad boy. It looks like crap now because of how much abuse i've put it through, but it still sounds great day after day. Besides the fact that this cab is a great deal heavier than your standard, it's a tough road warrior. The vintage 30's are fantastic speakers for the music that I play.

Awesome Cab

This is hands down the best cab that CRATE makes other than the VC412V(discontinued) and is nicer than some Marshall cabs out there. This cab is a beast but is near impossible to break. Good solid LOUD sounds come out of this sucker. You play this cabinet with any amp and it sounds so good people are like, "that amp must have cost a fortune." This cab makes any amp sound incredible. The Celestion Vintage 30's have mammoth low end, fat mids, and huge high end without sounding harsh, and they break-up really slow giving your amp some extra headroom. Buy this, you will not be dissapointed!

Like a lot of the guys on here, I've played on this and that: Peavey's, line 6, smaller crates, Laney, Fenders and Marshall?s this puts everything I've touched to shame. I've had these cabinets for 2 weeks and it's changed my perspective and desire to play forever. I've yet to turn it up more than half volume for fear of my roof collapsing under the pressure of the sound waves. My ears are new to professional grade equipment, but I really don't think it can get any better. There's no longer a sound I'm chasing, I have it and now I can die happy. Maintains at any volume whatever tone you tell it from whatever guitar or amp you plug into it. I've rocked it with a Jackson Dinky with EMG's, a peavey hp signature series with crap pickups, I've put the line 6 spider II 212 through it, even my little Marshall MG15 and everything comes out sounding beautiful and fresh. Oh yeah, it's the heaviest damn thing I've ever owned besides my car and weightlifting sets, and that should tell you something. Bigger is better when it comes to this stuff.

I just bought one of these things, I traded in 2 less expensive cabinets for it and I wished that I just spent the money on this the first time. It is louder than my cheaper 2 cabs combined, and the quality blows them both out of the water. The bass is like thunder and the highs will make your ears bleed. I play metal and I was skeptical about getting a more vintage sounding amp but Hatebreed plays blue voodoo so thats good enough for me. The only problem I have had with this thing is it can get so loud, it is like a weapon. And if you have a problem(tech. wise) like a bad cable or dirty pots or something, and you are infront of that thing, you will walk away hurting. But in my opinion, buy with confidence.

I sit a Crate GTX212 combo on top of this cab and piss off the neighbors. This cab has amzing tone! before i got this I only had the GTX212's 2 12 inch celestions, which was good but when I got loud I'd lose tone and get feed back like all hell. But soon as I got this I could go louder( much much much louder) and not lose tone and no feedback at all!!! this is a show quality cab, it's a must have.

I have this cab along with a glx1200 head and this thing rocks! The tone is incredible, even at ear bleeding volumes. I can't believe how crystal clear the cleans are, and how crunchy and awesome the distortion is. The looks are to die for too!
