I got this pedal because I was looking for a good quality tremelo pedal without breaking the bank. Right out of the box, this thing is AMAZING! Very well built, excellent sound quality, and very well-built and durable. If you are looking for a tremelo pedal without having to spend mass amounts of cash, this is the pedal for you!

Comments about Danelectro Cool Cat Series CT-1 Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal:
This is a decent pedal for what it does. A tremolo pedal.
I use this sparingly, but it gives me exactly what I need. The speed and rate options cover about anything you could want a trem to do, and its a bitter more solid than most Danalectro pedals I've seen. Never been a fan of their products, but this one is great. It has true bypass and isnt noisy at all. For the price, I dont think you can beat this one. Why pay 4 times as much for the same thing?

Comments about Danelectro Cool Cat Series CT-1 Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal:
Sounds great, in a sturdy enclosure, and a fantastic value. I was about to spend $185 on a boutique tremolo pedal, but decided to try this one based on feedback. Glad I did -- highly recommended if you want to add some swampy tremolo to your signal path.
Comments about Danelectro Cool Cat Series CT-1 Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal:
The soft option on the soft/hard is a little too soft for me, would be nice to have a smooth spectrum taper between soft and hard to fine tune it, but it is still better than what I anticipated
Limited but effective
For the price, yes high quality, metal casing, nice click ignition
The price is nice, there are other trems that are way more expensive that are only a couple times better than this.
Comments about Danelectro Cool Cat Series CT-1 Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal:
There is no better tremolo pedal out there for the money. The sound is perfect, sounds like an old Fender. Cheap. Built to last. I'll bet Danelectro sells a ton of these.
I don't like pedals with more three 3 or 4 knobs. This has everything you need and nothing you don't need in a trem. Very responsive controls, easy to dial in. I like that the in/out jacks are on the back rather than the sides - gives you a little extra space on your board or on the floor.
The Cool Cat Tremolo sounds better than my old Demeter Tremulator, which costs over 200 bucks, ditto for the Voodoo Labs tremolo, which I never warmed up to. The lush, thick sound quality matches any trem pedal out there, in my opinion. Has exactly the right amount of volume boost. I mostly use the 'soft' side rather than the 'hard' side but even the soft side has plenty of throb. Built like the proverbial tank, thick metal housing. Danelectro pedals look cheesy, all of them, IMO, but I don't mind when the unit is so sturdy and sounds go good.
Incredible value, sounds better than plenty of $200 trem pedals out there. This one will stay on my pedalboard forever.
Comments about Danelectro Cool Cat Series CT-1 Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal:
I'm a little nervous about buying a fourth Cool Cat Tremolo.
The speed and depth controls are perfect. The hard/soft control works, but I don't use the hard modulation.
Two out of the three pedals I have work perfectly. The third pedal pops loudly turning it on and off, and, an approximate 25% volume level drop. Thought it was the pedal train, but, no.
I love these pedals and use them way too much.
Comments about Danelectro Cool Cat Series CT-1 Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal:
Danelectro has been in business for years and produce good quality products. I like the looks of the Cool Cat Tremolo, the sound, and the affordable price. I am happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone.
Sturdy metal case will last a lifetime. You can dial up really cool tremolo effects with the three adjustment knobs.
This pedal is very well made, sturdy metal case, and nice looking.
You get a really nice tremolo effects pedal for a very affordable price.

Comments about Danelectro Cool Cat Series CT-1 Tremolo Guitar Effects Pedal:
I don't usually write reviews, but this pedal really blew me away with the sound, build quality and features that it had for the money. This is my first tremolo pedal and I was looking for something cheap since I didn't think I was going to be using it so much. Low and behold, I'm addicted to the sound that this nifty little pedal creates. **There is a very slight volume boost when engaged but I do find this beneficial when playing with my band since I cut through the mix more** That being said, this pedal goes from subtle to hard-hitting tremolo breakup with a simple turn of a knob. Don't hesitate with buying this pedal because for the money, it doesn't get any better than this!
It features a speed, depth," and a knob which lets you choose a hard or soft waveform. It claims to be ""true bypass"" which I do believe it to be since I don't notice any tone suck. I'm running 8 other true bypass pedals with the exception of my Nova Repeater which has a nice buffer. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a flashing LED light nor is it tap-tempo", but that's just me asking for more than what I paid for.
Feels like a sturdy and heavy piece of die-cast metal that can be stepped on for years to come. The switch feels sturdy and reliable with a nice, loud click when pressed. The pots feel secure as well, not loose or flimsy.
I can't stress how much of a steal/bargain this pedal really is. Most people would be diswayed by the brand or price (not saying that Danelectro is a bad effects company), but looking up YouTube demos and reviews really solidified my choice in purchasing this pedal.
