First of all it's not actually me that owns this pedal. I ordered it, tried it out, and set it up for someone I know who is just getting started with guitar and wanted his first pedal.
It's a little smaller than you would think, and for the price I was really surprised. It's plastic, but it's really thick, durable plastic. I would not be afraid to use this on stage. As long as you're not one who stomps hard on your pedals this will be fine. As far as sound, it's actually really good sound quality and almost as good as the expensive flangers!

Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
For the price, I wasn't expecting much. But this pedal sounds great! No unwanted noise & it gives my solos a touch of that Jimi sound - sweet & syrupy! It'll get that classic VH sound if you need it. I set everything to the midpoint which is subtle but sweet. I've read they break easily, so I'll be sure to transport it carefully. I bought a Danelectro power supply (which costs more than the pedal) for it & it works great. For the price, you can't this bad boy..

Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
There is no better flanger for the price - and I've had more expensive pedals that were no better than this one
Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
This pedal is overall spectacular! I could only be happier if it was made of metal instead of plastic, but its a low priced pedal. I had great things about Danelectro, and I'm happy to say that they have exceeded my expectations with this pedal.
It only has three knobs, but if you play around with it for just five minutes, you can almost assuredly get the right flange/chorus type effect you are looking for.
This thing is amazing for the price. I had the option to use an EHX Small Clone, and I chose this instead because i personally prefer the tone i get from this pedal. Yes, it is made of plastic, but if you don't literally stomp on it, it should hold up fine. I've had and used mine extensively in and out of the home for over a year now!
This thing is worth every penny plus some. I have been extremely pleased at it's overall value, making the perfect sounds for a flange pedal.
Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
Try to find anything better for the price of 15 dollars
For the price no complains
What bad can I say when it's only 15 dollars
15 dollars
Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
This thing brings so much atmosphere to my tone! And it's suuuuper cheap. Yes, it's mostly plastic and looks flimsy, but it's held up so far for me and feels heavy and sturdy despite its appearance.
My biggest complaint is the difficulty tweaking the knobs, since they're in the back directly above the 1/4" jacks. My fat fingers can't squeeze in there very well when the pedal's plugged in.
As for sound--I love what it does to my tone. I can set it to low speed & output for a subtle, watery effect or I can turn it on full blast for a warbly, almost ring-mod sound. Couple it with a soft delay and suddenly I'm channeling Robert Smith. Definitely worth the price (and more)!
Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
Have only had this baby for two weeks or so, but impressed my6 bandmates with it at last practice. Will be gigging with it this Saturday. Yes, I'll have to be careful, because of the plastic case, but it does everything the more pricey flangers do. Sounds great!
Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
If you take extremely good care of your gear (like I do) or you mostly do studio work (like I do) then this is perfect!! I dont see any reason why it wont last me a long time to come. But if you know you are hard on your pedals, or you play out a lot and your gear get knocked around too much, you might want to get something else. Something with a metal chasis. But you absolutely can not find a better deal than these FAB pedals. Yes there are WAAAYYYY better pedals out there, but you will pay WAAAAYYY more!! Try it out!!
You can't get better than this price for this pedal!!! It sounds great, doesnt color your tone, and its dirt cheap.
OK, yes it is plastic, and i dont think it would stand up to years or road use and touring. But the SOUND is fantastic!!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Its so cheap that even if it did break in a year i would just get a new one!
Comments about Danelectro Fab Flange:
Overall this is a great pedal to have around you never know you might even use it if you buy it i recommend you buy Rayovac..dnt know if i spelled it right.. get those brand batteries i got two for a dollar at walmart. just take out the input cable everytime lol. Buy it! you wnt regret it!
I just wish the knobs were on the top where theyd be easy to adjust but other than that everything is fine. the button never got stuck on me before.
the quality is ok i bought this just to mess around with a flange and maybe use it at practice... I ended up gigging with it..yup. did 4 shows with it and it sounded great for single notes. Also sounds really good if you turn the speed up, the regen about halfway and the depth a it more than halfway too sounds like a tremolo. It hasnt broken at all i still have it and use it i bought it about a year ago.
The price is great especially if you dnt want to spend hundreds on something you may not use.
