OVERVIEW

Over 125 different effects with 40-second looper, 200 presets, 2 x 2 USB audio streaming and more.

The DigiTech RP360 guitar multi-effect processor is a complete 360 guitar effects solution. It includes over 125 different effects (32 amps, 18 cabinets, 74 stompboxes) inspired by the world's best-selling pedals and iconic amps. The LCD interface makes it easy to explore and discover the perfect tone to get that desired effect. Along with the incredible selection of effects, the RP360 has a 40-second looper, nearly 200 presets, USB port, configurable footswitch modes, built-in tuner; dedicated headphone jack, Sound Check and 60 built-in drum tracks.

You can add up to eight effects to each preset. The RP360 has a USB port for transferring and loading presets from your computer. With nearly 200 onboard presets and Nexus, DigiTech's free preset editor and librarian software, you can create, transfer, and share an unlimited number of tones. The USB port also allows you to record your guitar tracks directly to your computer. The RP360 works with GarageBand, Pro Tools, Cubase, Ableton, and virtually every other recording software for Mac or PC.

The RP360 is versatile with three different footswitch modes. Incorporate the RP360 into your existing pedal board using stompbox mode where you can assign any effect in your preset to each footswitch. If you choose to use the RP360 by itself, easily navigate through your presets in preset mode or bank mode.

Extend your control of the RP360 with a 3-button footswitch or expression pedal. The 3-button footswitch can be set-up to extend the control of the onboard looper or navigate through your banks and presets. Using an expression pedal you'll engage real time control of an effect in your preset including the iconic Whammy pedal.

The RP360 includes a new feature exclusive to DigiTech called Sound Check. Sound Check allows you to quickly record a phrase with your guitar and set it to repeat while you dial in the perfect effects and settings. Sound Check saves you from having to continually bend over to make minor adjustments while dialing in your tone. With Sound Check you'll spend less time tweaking and more time playing with the perfect tones

I owned an older Line 6 POD XT floor processor and I have to say I am very glad I moved over to the DigiTech RP360XT. The tone on this thing blew me away. I had to EQ my guitar first, but right out of the box the presets are awesome. There is a good mix between clean and dirty sounds as well as some other really cool effects and bass models. It has a pretty decent drum machine which is really useful for nailing down your timing. It's much easier to use than my old Line 6 POD XT floor unit. One thing that disappointed me though was the lack of iPad app. Not a big deal, but it would be nice for those of us who own tablets. I can't really fault this machine on anything, it is excellent value. It has a solid body an it is very compact. I carry it around in a laptop bag with room to spare and it doesn't break my shoulder. I considered looking at some more Line 6 stuff, but I have to give my money to DigiTech this time. You can't go wrong with this machine. BTW, I'm not ditching Line 6, I still own some of their stuff.

I can't tell you if this is good or not because when I ran the Nexus software editor, it attempted to update the firmware. After 10+ attempts, not only is the firmware not updated, but the device is useless because it is "stuck" in the update screen, and will not revert to its normal function. This will probably be a good product when they fix all the bugs in the software, but right now it's going back to MF

    not so easy to program without using NEXUS.
    Comparing with previous PR models and Boss ME-80 (I have It now) acoustic simulator is much better.

      Comments about DigiTech RP360 Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal:

      I was a pedal junkie, buy sell buy sell buy sell. What a waste! Turns out I just needed this thing.

      I'm no musician but I love to play around with the different sounds, the RP360 is perfect. You get 100 presets plus 100 more spots to set up customs. PLUS you can go online and download more, I've got 5 Van Halen pre-sets that other people set up and I tweaked them even further. The possibilities are endless!

      Bottom line: For the price of one pedal you can have ALL the pedals!

        Comments about DigiTech RP360 Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal:

        Bought this as an upgrade from my Digitech RP50.
        what a difference!! i can pre-select effects/amps and mix and match all with 3 very friendly footswitches.
        the looper and drum machine is great for practicing at home and the earphone jack makes practice easy if you live close to neighbors.
        I Haven't setup the Nexus software yet.
        after my type B USB cable arrives i can give a review on the software.
        The setting i use the RP360 in;
        a local church band weekly
        Setup;
        Dean Vendetta XMT w/vintage tremelo (thanks MF)
        into the RP 360 then into my Zoom volume pedal
        and finally into my Crate amp

        all i can say is i am so glad i bought this.
        the variety of sounds/options and the price
        is a no-brainer

        Thanks Musician's Friend & Digitech
        for having what i need at a great price!!!

              Comments about DigiTech RP360 Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal:

              Bought this as a temp replacement for my Boss GT-6 when it started acting up, and ever since I've been using it, I've been impressed with it's manufacture, price, and ease of use. Like all multi-effect pedals, this too has many "effects" that are useless, but once you've honed in on that handful of sounds you like and will be using...this can't be beat.

              The biggest downfall is that there's no owner's manual except in PDF. I prefer "hard copy" so I can "tag" and make notes in the margins, so, I used a lot of ink and time printing the manual for myself.

                  Comments about DigiTech RP360 Guitar Multi-Effects Pedal:

                  I bought an RP360 to replace my DigiTech 1101 desktop preamp, which finally gave out after 10 years. I am retired from live gigs, so most of my playing is at home through headphones.

                  Considering the low price of the RP360, it is an incredible value. It is nearly perfect for my purposes. And here is a real bonus: It does nearly everything the 1101 did, but with a MUCH simpler user interface. Adjusting the effects or chain of effects within a preset could not be easier!

                  About the only feature of the 1101 that is not included in the 360 is the collection of Tone Libraries. But considering the difference in price, I'll do without the Tone Libraries.

                    When I first got this, I had trouble with the updating process. It froze in the update screen. I tried over and over, and could not successfully update it, or get it back to working condition. I got discouraged, and unfortunately wrote a bad review. I tried again the next day, and was successful. This pedal is great. You can record into your DAW, it has drum patterns for practice, a great selection of effects, and is easy to use. I was able to use my Roland EV-5 expression pedal with it. It was easy to calibrate. You can link many parameters to the pedal. There are cool filtering effects as well as harmony effects. The Nexus editing software is very good. You can't go wrong, especially at this price !
