Comments about EBS DynaVerb High Dynamics Stereo Reverb Pedal:

I play both bass and guitar, and when buying pedals, I try to purchase with both instruments in mind. Many pedals that are tailored to bass players tend to place too great an emphasis on frequencies below 100Hz that make them unusable with guitars, and many guitar effects don't have the ability to properly reproduce those frequencies.

That is thankfully not the case with this pedal!

Truly a studio quality digital reverb, I have used this on everything. Whether I'm playing Bach Suites on the electric bass, or Nashville slide guitar on a Telecaster, this pedal shines.

Each of the three reverb types (Hall, Plate and Room) are useable, detailed, dynamic and accurate. The Reverb time knob is useable from the shortest to longest settings, and the EQ filter knob can adjust minute details of your tone to suit the room you're in, the amp you're using or the specific type of colour you're aiming for.

The stereo in and out is useful in dual-amp situations, but is especially useful in recording. I've used this pedal as a stereo effect insert on various instruments, and even in a stereo mastering setup and it works shockingly well! Granted, I'd never use it for a professional master because there are simply more detailed and flexible rackmount and software reverbs out there, but it was an enlightening experiment. If someone wants a decent reverb for a budget home studio, I'd have no problem in recommending this very useful unit.

The only drawback of this pedal is the fact that it's not programmable. But then again, that wasn't its intended function. Other companies have highly programmable, pre-set-able digital reverbs that sound just as good, but are quite a bit more expensive and MUCH larger, making them impractical for use on a pedal board.

One final note: it's built like a tank. This unit is extremely rugged, using durable components and parts that are well put-together.

Though some might consider the price tag a bit high for "just a reverb", it's easily one of the best reverb pedals on the market for bass or guitar and is well worth the money.

Comments about EBS DynaVerb High Dynamics Stereo Reverb Pedal:

Not everything EBS does is wonderful but this one sure is. It's expensive but it adds something that I keep in the mix at all times. I play fretless 5-string and it really warms my sound, wraps it up in a pretty package and puts a bow on it—so to speak! This pedal is a keeper!

    Great Reverb Pedal

    By jojackso

Comments about EBS DynaVerb High Dynamics Stereo Reverb Pedal:

This pedal is a bit pricey, but is does NOT sound cheap. It is simple, 8 reverbs (rooms plates, halls) with a reverb amount and tone, but you can get a lot out of it. The tone knob helps affect how airy the effect is and can help make a heavier reverb mix more subtle while still making the sound "farther away" sounding. Definitely a great pedal.

    Pricy but top qality

    By Dr. Bass PhD

Comments about EBS DynaVerb High Dynamics Stereo Reverb Pedal:

Ok. There are cheaper reverbs available but than you risk that it will sound cheap also. This one is build by people who know what bassplaying in live and studio conditions means. It is easy to set, delivers only professional sound and no noise. It takes away the worry about sound, you rather can focus on playing.

    As clean as it gets.

Comments about EBS DynaVerb High Dynamics Stereo Reverb Pedal:

These guys sure make great stuff! It will scare you how clean this pedal is; controls are idiot proof; well built; the EBS Dynaverb actually works for bass! Use it on my fretless 5 string all the time-makes it sound huge. Also a great effect for lots of different tunes. PRICEY but there is NO hiss,NO low end loss, true bypass, No weird signal discrepencies-if you can AFFORD it, it's the best!
