OVERVIEW

Faithfully emulating a real tube amp sound, in an ingenious, tough-as-nails pedal.

The Emma Electronic ReezaFRATzitz II overdrive and distortion pedal emulates the distortion characteristics of a real tube amp as faithfully as possible.

The second generation ReezaFRATzitz pedal is based on the best-sounding Reeza 1 Emma could find. ReezaFRATzitz added low- and high-frequency controls that give you unprecedented tonal control over the OD pedal.

An included Bias knob controls the inner workings of the ReezaFRATzitz pedal from class B (far left) to class A (far right) and anywhere in between. You can alter the signal's harmonic structure to provide a much wider range of tonal options than your standard overdrive-distortion pedal. Class A mode provides smoother clipping ala' Vox AC30 while Class B is more akin to your classic Marshall amp tones.

Additional controls for Level, Gain, and the previously mentioned Low and High tone controls fine-tune the Reezafratzitz to taste.

An ingenious ReezaFRATzitz circuit is the 'untrue bypass' that at Emma Electronic is known as 'the overlord of the beast.' There are many myths about mechanical true bypass. In a pedal like the ReezaFRATzitz and their PisdiYAUwot, you will want and you will get the 'untrue bypass' circuit.

Comments about Emma Electronic ReezaFRATZzitz II Overdrive and Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal:

This is an awesome distortion. It can go from gritty overdrive (with the volume knob rolled way back and the gain around 12 o'clock) to super heavy palm-muted chugging. I use a C standard down-tuned guitar and play stoner doom-y type stuff, and this distortion is perfect for me. Palm muting sounds massive, single sustained notes ring out with clarity, and low dissonance doesn't get farty or flabby.

It sounds a lot like a RAT (which was my go-to distortion before this pedal) only it's more versatile, it cleans up nicer, and has a smoother top end, which ends up being a noticeable improvement.

It probably wouldn't be suitable for extreme metal (those people would likely do better with a pedal that has a dedicated mid control), but this is perfect for people like me who like rock voiced distortions but still want a ton of gain to tap into. It's a bit pricey, but it's pro. Watch a couple videos online and see if it's right for you.

Comments about Emma Electronic ReezaFRATZzitz II Overdrive and Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal:

All I can say is this. I've bought and then sold distortion pedals from Zvex, JHS, Lovepedal, Bad Cat. etc.

They were all great pedals, but I just couldn't find the sound I wanted from them.

This will be the pedal I use permanently or until it breaks. It has an unbelievable range and tonal palette. Just do a solo with the gain around 3'oclock and wait for that feedback to slowly melt into your final sustained note. This pedal is a gem that more people should know about.

      Spread the wealth.

Comments about Emma Electronic ReezaFRATZzitz II Overdrive and Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal:

Fantastic distortion! Very responsive to pick attack. Cleans up really nice with guitar volume. I use it at fairly low gain but with an OD in front. Stacks great! I was a little worried about getting a distortion with buffer (not true bypass), but the buffer is very transparent. The bias is a great feature... changes the "feel" of the pedal from spongy to tight. Highly recommended!

Comments about Emma Electronic ReezaFRATZzitz II Overdrive and Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal:

This is just a monster. Even in small amps you're going to soung like you're playing throught a tube amp (and a big one), so it gives that sensation. It's the best distortion pedal I've ever had till this point and blends well with other kinds of distortion pedals (especially overdrives). It's also loud when you want it to be but responds well to attenuation (playing with volume knob) to get and overdrive sound. The Bias knob is also really cool and gives the pedal that versatility from overdrive or distortion or even amp styles. Is totally worth to try one of these.

Comments about Emma Electronic ReezaFRATZzitz II Overdrive and Distortion Guitar Effects Pedal:

I shouldn't write this review cause this pedal is too good for most guitarists! Calling this a distortion pedal is just an insult! This monster is an amp in a box! but please don't buy this peda-you're just not good enough for it! Peace!
