My major focus was finding a combo amp that had limitless volume. Reading the reviews and owning the amp, this fits the bill. I added a drive 4-10 extension cab and my sound fills our jam room. No one ever over powers me, and I get a nice sound that fills in all the gaps. For me it's missing alittle more crunch or drive that I will have to get a pedal to adjust. Overall, it's a great loud amp, very portable, and if your biggest concern is being overpowered than this is for you (I really mean it, the volume is limitless; the house shakes, windows rattle, the drum set falls over, etc.) but for the price, I think you come up short in options and features. I've seen alot of other combos come with more options/features (like a distortion, or chorus or octave), better tutorials online and instructions/guides to help you get the sound you want... fender has none of that.

I purchased one a month ago. The first time I played it the fan did not work, so I almost burned the amp up! Luckily they took it back and sent me a new one. The new one wasn't much better. The first song we played at practice ended with a resounding hum and them the amp just quit! I have always owned Fender Bass equipment and this is now the last I will have ever owned. Once again they will take it back and I think I'll go with an Ampeg!!!

    Top of the Line Amp

    By bassdaddy

    from Oregon

I have owned this amp for a few years now and it is the best combo I've owned. It's low growls and punchy sound fills small venues and large auditoriums. I like the parametric eq to dial in the right sound for what I am playing. I play my 4 string Ibanez as well as my 5 string protone thru it and it never fails me. Not to difficult to move around either with the casters.

    The best combo amp ever

    By Bassman15

    from Clearwater, Fl

This amp has almost limitless power, in a very small package. This amp has two high quality drivers that fill even the largest halls even at low volumes. My only problem was the Parametric EQ, it takes awhile to get a hang of. All in all this is the best combo amp I have ever owned.

    AN AMAZING VALUE!!!

    By Publicstate

After playing on nothing but Ampeg for the longest time, started with a B-2 gradually went to a svt4pro... I suddenly had to hit a tour with smaller cargo space than I had expected... so I hit the nearest music store for a smallish amp at a price point that I could expect decent quality. I was pleasantly surprised. I describe this amp in one word... convenient. The weight, the sound, the tuner, the di, every aspect is brilliantly designed and executed flawlessly to the point where I sold my old rig and bought an extention 15" for this and have never regretted it. BUY IT NOW!

    Simply Amazing

    By wubben_541

My high school purchased this amp a couple years ago and I have put it through the paces playing in the pep band with it cranked to 11! It doesn't even flinch, delivering mind numbing power every single time. Fender delivers quality with every thing they make and this amp is no exception. There are not enough words to describe how happy I am with this amp.

    Amazing

    By TKCdude

My Friend has this amp and I have played through it dozens on times, and everytime I'm completely amazed. The tone sounds like an Ampeg and the volume is crazy for an amp this size. I can shaker the house at 5. The only thing about this amp thats a little over the top is the price, but it's awesome. Buy it if you've got the money!

Well I tried this for about 10 minutes, and I knew this would beat most any half stack I were to buy for the price. So I bought it, and I was amazed at the quality. Since it has mostly SWR technology, it will blow you away. Sweet amp!
