    Light, loud, toneful, and flexible!

The new Fender Acoustasonic™ 100 acoustic guitar combo amp is perfect for the acoustic guitarist who needs a light, loud, versatile, and flexible amp loaded with tonal innovations and useful features.

The Acoustasonic 100 combo packs full acoustic resonance and crystal clarity into a lightweight (only 18 lb.) amp with a new ultra-efficient 100-watt power amp, 8” foam-surround low-frequency neodymium driver, and high-frequency tweeter. Its new Voicing control lets any guitar simulate the tonality of parlor, dreadnought, and jumbo acoustics. Or, Voicing can be turned off for pure amp output response. For acoustic players who double on electric guitar, the Voicing control also has Blackface, tweed, and British amp settings, which makes a second amp just for electric guitar unnecessary.

Other features include instrument and microphone channels with independent EQ and effects controls; new feedback elimination control with on/off switch for each channel; patented String Dynamics™ control that tames harsh treble notes; effects including reverb, delay, chorus, Vibratone, and more; XLR line out with level control and ground lift; USB connector for digital recording output (and possible future firmware updates); built-in kickstand for tilt-back positioning, strong five-ply hardwood construction; and optional two-button effects-select footswitch.

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 100 100W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I bought this to upgrade overall power over my Fisman Loudbox Mini and I liked the electric guitar option. What a hugh dissapointment. With the volume up to half way it's not even close to the mini at a quarter. Sound is sup par, not crisp. Playing a Taylor thru it didn't help. The feedback control seem to cut out most of the volume and leaves you with a sound that is very thin.

Do yourself a big favor buy the Loudbox.

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 100 100W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I had a Marshall AS100D for 3 years, with no complaints in my mind. Powerful, great sound, great effects, 3 channels and stuff. It's a quality working musician's tool, everyone knows that.

Someday I've realized that it would almost never leave home, and figured that was because the very thought of taking it for a ride would get me tired or muscle cramps. Then I started checking for something lighter, and became aware of the new feather weighted acoustic amps. I started checking the AC60, then Loudbox (both 60 and 100), and then this new Fender.

Based only on features, I went for this one without even listening to it, as it was a new product and not yet avaiable on the stores. But it did what it as supposed to. Two channels are just enough, separated effects assignment for each channel (something that the marshall won't do), phantom power, etc. Plus some electric simulation (not great, though). String Dynamics is nice feature, and combined with the sody simulation you can get natural, round acoustic sounds even from passive/bad quality pickups.

The only things that I've noticed is that it (i) doesn't feel as loud as the Marshall, though nominal power is meant to be same, which I'm thinking might have something to do with the propaled new technology/lightweight poweramp. But it's loud enough, and venues that need more than what it can do will probably have a full PA system (to wich it can connect directly). Also, (ii) the sound on the Marshall might be a little less processed as well, more natural. But, as I said, the Marshall doesn't fix bad PU's, nor its slightly superior sound quality will matter to your regular audience.

At the end of the day, though, this thing weights only 23lbs, which is exactly half a Marshall. And that alone makes it a working musician's friendlier amp. Buy it along with a Vocalist, and you'll have a travelling act.

As a plus, it looks great, very vintagey.

    Active musician / solo artist

    By The Renegade

    from Indiana

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 100 100W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

Have been looking for a much lighter amp that would fit my needs. I am a "solo" artist and needed an amp that had both the instrument and the PA channels; including having the desired "effects". I have found this in the Acoustasonic 100. I was pleasently surprised that such a light amp could indeed do the job. I ordered this amp at the end of 2011 and recieved it early 2012---have been using it 6-7 times a month since; including this day. The amp has great effect choices for both channels, is plenty loud for the gigs that I do (up to 75+ people) and usually only have it turned a little over 1/4 way up. I am using a Takamine EG463SC I could not ask for a better sound for both Mic and Instrument. I am an RSVP member and volunteer for numerous senior facilities. Thank You.

My first amp -- and I love it! Acoustasonic 100 100W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp

    By Nicole Young

    from Michigan

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 100 100W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

This is my first amp, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I love the way my violin and voice sound with the reverb set to high. I get a great eerie fiddle with the slow chorus setting as well. With the anti-feedback button on, I don't have to worry about my microphone headset screeching while I play with the settings. And, the best part -- it's only 18 pounds. With my arthritis, this is a pain-free way to travel! I'll probably never need the full 100W, since I mostly use it for practice (and my kids are always telling me to turn it down!), but I like the size and weight and that it has the instrument and vocal inputs. The rest of the band members give it two thumbs up as well once we got the sound figured out -- and they're excited I finally got my own equipment after playing with them for 10 years!

    Recommended as a first amp!

Best acoustic amp ive played through Yet

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 100 100W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

its a great amp for the music i play and am very happy...think i will hang on to this one mite get 1 more and plug them together.
I have a jumbo Sage ibanez electric acoustic, and a 1967 Kay electric hollow body and a Dean banjo...Every one sounds so good..The Feedback Eliminaton Helps out alot on my banjo..when i play Slide on my kay it sounds like the old bluesmen bootlegs...And my Sage if you put in on the jumbo setting and ajust everything its sounds really shape and thats what ive been looking for along time. Plus the little tilt leg is frikning awesome. I didnt know what everone is talking about but my amp is Load a balls...when i bought it at the local music shop i walked half way across the store and the store is a big loft i had it set a 4 or 5 and it was pretty load i could hear ever little note...cant wait to gig out with it...Oh i also like the vintage look to it
The Quality really matches up with the Fender name. They have been working hard to put out Great sounding amps for years and years and years.
Worth the money...all tho i got mine on sale. i lucked out

Comments about Fender Acoustasonic 100 100W 1x8 Acoustic Guitar Combo Amp:

I really hate to give a bad review of a fender product...but i received my amp today and i am really dissapointed in this one...I tried gibson pro hummingbird in this amp and tweaked everything i could to try to get a good sound but it was not possible..i even tried to make myself like it and that did not happen either.I mean the the amp looks great but thats really all you get im sorry to say..i also tried my electric epiphone tribute and that did not work either..It just sounds too canny like a tinny hollow sound...I even patched it out to my roland stage 300 and there was still a canny sound..I do not know whats up but it will not have very many happy owners...sorry fender!!!
