Comments about Fender Sublime Bass Fuzz Pedal:

First of all, I'm not a big pedal user. Other than my MXR M80 for tone shaping, I use a Fulltone Bass Drive or DNA Bass Dragger to give me the tube-like overdrive I crave (ala Jack Bruce). I thought I'd add a Fuzz pedal to the mix and tried quite a few. I narrowed it down to 2 very dissimilar units; this and the Way Huge Swollen Pickle. I preferred this as it was more vintage sounding. At low levels, it has a tubey overdrive sound. What I love about this pedal is the simplicity once you've set internal pots to your liking. The unit is good at maintaining a fairly steady volume when adjusting the main fuzz level. It also makes it impossible to inadvertantly kick a knob that will dramatically alter your volume. Yes, the thing is huge. I would love it if it were smaller with all the jacks in the rear but it is what it is. I have not heard another fuzz I would trade it for. It also comes with a swanky velvet drawstring bag that is the whipped cream on the lime jello. A very tasty fuzz...

Comments about Fender Sublime Bass Fuzz Pedal:

Price, sound and quality are second to none.
I was looking for that "Muse" bass player sound, and I couldn't find out what he was using. A friend of mine suggested this pedal. I was blown away first of all by the way this thing is made and how beautiful it is! Built like a tank. Bigg too! If you are looking for a pedal to cram into your pedal board, look somewhere else! It's about the size of a Cry Baby wah wah. The sound is amazing. Take some time to set it up correctly and you will get anything from smoothe overdrive to fuzz in your face! The tone and volume are not lost on this pedal when you kick it in and have it set up right. Crossover and tone settings are very important for your amp and guitar. They are all different and need to be set up different. I have two different settings, one for my Fender Jazz bass and one for my Carvin B5000. The easy foot 'adjust on the fly' dial on top is awesome! Just place your foot on it and dial it in to sound you want. You won't be dissapointed in this pedal!
Built like a tank and beautiful! Comes with a cool velvet embroidered bag! What you would expect from todays Fender!
Can't beat the price for what you get. go ahead and look, then come back here and order one!

Comments about Fender Sublime Bass Fuzz Pedal:

I bought this pedal on a friends suggestion. It is a nice pedal, but not what I was looking for. Very large and takes up a lot of room on the pedal board. Good adjustability, but the fuzz tone is not all that good. It may be ok for passive basses, but with an active 18v bass it just don't cut it. I should have done more research. Save yourself some money and get an Electro Harmonix Big Muf Pi. Much better sound.
