The Friedman Steve Stevens SS 4x12 is a 4x12", closed-back speaker cabinet, utilizing tung-and-groove Baltic Birch construction and delivers the bass, mid response and great sound you would expect from a great Friedman 4x12" cab. This cab matches sonically and aesthetically with the SS100 Signature Amp Head.

At the heart of the cab are four Celestion V30s. The Vintage 30 sound has been captured on thousands of recordings from a diverse range of notable players. It features enormously detailed and complex overtones, a warm low end, a famously rich vocal mid-range and a beautifully detailed top end. Used to reveal the complexities in hand-wired boutique amps this speaker delivers a wonderfully intricate vintage 3D crunch.

Friedman History:
For many guitarists, the name Dave Friedman does not have the cachet of, say, Eddie Van Halen, Steve Stevens or Jerry Cantrell. Yet without Friedman's helping hand these players, as well as a host of countless other guitar heroes, wouldn't sound as amazing as they do onstage and in the studio.

Dave Friedman has been building, modding and repairing amplifiers for some of the world's biggest stars for the past 25 years. Friedman's innovative designs have made him legendary in the world of professional touring musicians and the meticulous construction of his Rack Systems gear has earned him a loyal clientele from all over the world.

One of Friedman's services has been to modify amps to each player's specific tonal pallet and to consult for other established amplifier companies with their own designs. Friedman's extensive experience in this area inspired Dave to develop a brand-new series of production amplifiers under Friedman Amplification. In the past, having Friedman build or mod your amp required a certain level of notoriety, but now his sonic wizardry is available to everyday players.

With 25 years of experience in fixing amps, Dave has learned all the pitfalls other companies may have over looked, none of which are in a Friedman amp.
