Bought the cab brand new in November of 06. Used it medium volume (small rooms) at roughly 10 gigs. Cab inexplicably stopped working in the middle of a show. Took it in for repair next day - this was in May - to GK certified tech. Got it back Oct. 4th, 5 months later. Part was always "on order." In the meantime I picked up a used Hartke 4/10 that sounds fantastic and has never had a problem. The two cabs together sound great, but next time I'll skip GK and go straight to Hartke.
I have the GK RB1001 210 Combo, and bought this so I can have the benefits of the GK BiAmp settings, while providing a bit of low end. The cab is tight, and have not had any problems after gigging with it a dozen or so times. The speaker is fairly tight sounding, but not like your typical 4x10.
