Great bass head! This is the loudest amp I've ever personally owned.
If you need to feel the earth move this is the amp for you.
For smaller gigs I run this into a 4 ohm 4X10 cab using just 1 side of the dual monos. For bigger shows I add a 15 bottom. Clean headroom for days.

It would be as hard to imagine needing more power than the 2001RB provides than it would be to imagine not being able to dial in that tone in your head with all the tone shaping tools right there on the front of this amp! It's easy to use and has headroom to spare giving great clarity massive punch and monster tone. I've been playing for a long long time and still manage to play 3-4 gigs a week at mid to large size venues and I have never had a need for more power or to be heard in the mix with this monster. Whatever sound your looking for this GK powerhouse provides. I run this head bridged and biamped into the GK 4/12 cabinet which is rated at 1200 watts at 4 ohms and that cabinet takes it all with power in reserve. Night after night other bass players come up to check out this setup while I'm on break. I have had so many compliments on the tone and punch this setup provides it's insane. Most of all I'm loving it. Gig after gig this head hasn't failed to perform. I've played through just about every head out there. I can afford anything I want but the sound the 2001RB just does it for me and I must say I've never ever felt the punch this rig gives in any other setup I've ever owned. One of the best heads on the market no doubt!

I just sold my Mesa Titan V12! Guys, this head really worth every penny you pay for it. I'm not gonna say too much words, but hey, these who play rock this is it, in my opinion. I'm planning to buy another one and mix them together, like Justin Chansellor doing.woooo man, you diggg TOOL bass sound? Well then go for it. Don't forget buy Wal too :) and about 10,000 pedals.

I used this sweet baby at a guitar shop and it was amazing. They had this thing hooked up to 2 8x10 gk neo cabs. However Duff Mckagan uses only one of these for concerts and he uses 4 8x10 neo cabs. And his sound kicks but

First off, I am a professional musician who has played huge shows with thousands of people in attendance. I know how important having great tone is. This thing can easily fill a stadium with it's underrated 1000 watts. The tone and versitility of this amp are unmatched by any other brand. G-K stands behind their products, too.When my contract it done with a certain other major amp brand, I'll be using this, along with 4 G-K 4x10 cabs as my main stage rig.

I have been wanting this amp since I read the description and reviews 4 months ago. I was directed to this product after reading an interview with Justin Chancellor (Tool) and he uses it with Mesa cabs. I plan on buying it and putting it through SWR cabs (I like the 18" cab sound)I played a used one to get a good idea of the amp before unloading a lot of clams on a new one...and it's all I've been dreaming of since. I was half tempted to buy the used one just because I didn't want to not play the amp. If you have the money to invest in a damn near perfect sound...buy this amp!

You'll never turn back. Have mine hooked up to 2 Hartke 4x10 and one hartke 2x15 also using a line 6 Basspodxt live. I use a Fender American Deluxe Jazz 5 String with active pickups and a 1972 Fender Jazz Bass. Endless amount of power and features.

This bass head is AMAZING! I have played many bass rigs, but this head with two 410 RBH cabs blows me away! It is absolutely amazing.

I have used this amp head before, along with a GK 15" and a GK 4x10" speaker cabinets. This amp has a lot of power and can definitely fill a stadium. And you can always lower the volume if it gets too loud. As for effects, just hook a ZOOM peadal up to it or something if you want to use effects/extra effects. To top all this, Flea (bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers), uses this same bass head. Except he uses three of them (lots of speakers).
