Blends analog warmth and punch with 600W solid-state power.

The Shuttle 6.0 bass amplifier blends analog and digital platforms to produce plenty of warmth, punch, and a generous 600 watts of power for its size. The signal path utilizes a 12AX7 tube preamp with Genz•Benz active EQ and responsive signal shape circuitry. An optional footswitch is available for use with the Signal Mute and three Signal Shaping circuits. The power amp section is a high-power CLASS D module, which also incorporates a switch mode power supply. It has an effects loop, extended range input gain for active/passive sensitivity, a Limiter circuit, Speakon speaker outputs, full XLR direct out interface, aux, input, LED status indicators and more.

The Shuttle series from Genz•Benz also incorporates a highly innovative removable amp chassis design that allows you to pull out the lightweight amp head from its saddle and transport it inside a gig bag. Features:

I like having the mute and tuner out, DI out switches also very helpful. I don't usually need the shaping buttons but have used them when switching to upright to pronounce the upper mids more.

    Quality:

So far so good. I've had it for a couple of months and it seems solid.

    Value:

Buying anything over this range is a stretch for me so I'm hoping it will be reliable. It's seems very good in the bang for the buck department. I like the sound. I'm running it with a David Eden 2x10 XST. Being that it's only pushing 350W with the one cab I have to crank it pretty high when the stage volume gets up there. I'd like to get a 1x15 8 ohm cab to run with the 2x10 so I can get the full 600W out of the cab, but most of the time I don't need that much volume as I'm running through the mains anyway. Trying to save my ears.

    Overall:

So far I'm very happy with it. The fact that it's less than 4 lbs is huge and people can't believe all that sound is coming out of such a small amp!

This is my first lightweight Class D bass amp. Years ago I lugged around a 250 W Class A behemoth (that hurt my back even in my early 20's), and this one is 600W and weighs next to nothing. The tone is unbelievable as is the power. It's shaking my house at low volumes, so I can't wait to open it up next Friday at an outdoor gig. This will have more than enough headroom for my stage volume, and I have TWO guitarists in the band and a loud drummer. I haven't moved any of the EQ knobs from their flat position and can't see doing so because the sound is perfect- I merely used the tone knob on my bass to muddy or brighten up my sound. The tube preamp/gain has likable sounds all the way through the knob. Adds a nice clean growl (if "clean" makes any sense here). The amp is QUIET. Playing it through my new Avatar B410 Neo (amp was discounted b/c of that purchase). Pumps.

I own this amp, and this is the best amp I've ever owned. Clearity is excellent, more power than you will ever need and the tube is the bomb. It pushes the Genz Benz UB 4-10 Cab very well.

I was well on my way to getting a Markbass rig when I sat in with a band that had the Genz Benz 600.. WOW..This little monster was great. Ran only with the GB 12" and a satellite 10" cab and it cranked. Lows, highs, they were all there. Plus its made in AZ, USA. (calmed my warranty fears)  My choice has now changed. Congrats Mr. Genzler on an excellent product!
