Decent inverted snap

By Mark Olson

from Houghton, MI

This pedal gets a decent inverted snap, but either cuts or muddies my lows a lot. You will experience a volume/pressure (from the low end) drop when you switch this on. This is true for other filters that are quite popular though, such as the DOD FX-25(b). If you can adjust to that loss, this pedal gets that all important inverted snap, similar to the Mu-Tron, but a little different (I own the Mu-Tron, so I can tell you). This pedal is a good buy if you want that inverted snap of the Mu-Tron, but cannot find or afford the real deal. Also, this is a decent subsitute that takes up minimal pedal board real estate.

not what I expected

By steve-o-.zB62

from new albany, IN

The guyatone bottom rocker I got was seemingly useless. It had a slight wah effect sound to it, but not as advertised. It sounded shallow and weak. No increase in bottom end whatsoever. I really didn't get any "Bootsy" sound from it at all. I recommend against this pedal. But not against MusiciansFriend.

Worth it

By Pink Floyd

from Winchester, VA

These pedals are inexpensive and well worth the money. They don't sacrifice your tone for the tone gods out there. The effect is perfect for what I need, but it would be nice to control it, such as the wah pedals. I'm not a fan of how the battery compartment is as I always have a hard time getting the rubber back on. But this pedal is great. A steal, really, as it could be sold for a lot more and would still be worth it.
