      Hammond

Provides the soaring tones only an authentic Leslie can produce!

The Hammond Leslie tone cabinet is designed for single-channel organs whose pedal range extends down into the lower frequencies. The sound is separated with the highs reproduced by a horn rotor and the lows reproduced by a bass rotor. Both the horn and bass rotors can be operated at two speeds: Fast (Tremolo) or Slow (Chorale). Also features a traditional 40W tube amplifier for the "warm tube" sound. The model 122A is specifically designed for older Hammond organs requiring a separate tone cabinet for sound reproduction, such as the A,B,C and RT models. Includes a 30' 6-pin cable.

Voice for an Original Hammond Model A

      By Bachtothefuture

Comments about Hammond Leslie Speaker 122A with 30 Foot 6-pin Cable:

In 2008 I had an original Model A (#1128) worked on: new heavy wiring, new amp, cleaned, etc. by a well-known company out of Minneapolis. These guys are GOOD. The original 1936 20 watt tone cabinet was not what I wanted, so I had the Hammond wired to speak through this new Leslie 122A. It sounds GREAT. I can't believe what comes out of this speaker: the bass is big and fat and the rest of the organ is bright. I need to sell the instrument now and I will be sorry to see it go....but, for someone who knows how to play these vintage organs it will be a dream machine.

      Leslie 122A Review

      By Hammond Guy

      from Phoenix, AZ

Comments about Hammond Leslie Speaker 122A with 30 Foot 6-pin Cable:

I own Leslie models 122, 145, and 122A. The oldest Leslies use more furniture-grade plywood, and no particle board, but the newer Leslies use much more particle board, but are still beautiful. The 122A uses essentially the same 40 watt tube amp, and the new upper driver, which I now use in all my Leslies. It is louder and brighter than the originals, which tended to blow out. The reliability and simplicity of a single motor for both speeds is nice. Look how many professionals still use the 122 on stage - there is nothing that sounds quite the same. I use a vintage Hammond for the same reason I use an original style Leslie. I can hear a marked difference, even if some audiences won't notice. But many in the audience can't discern an expensive guitar and amp either. It just makes performing more satisfying.

      Great Speaker

Comments about Hammond Leslie Speaker 122A with 30 Foot 6-pin Cable:

This is the best sounding Leslie being made these days. Great quality and value Even though this does not sound as good as my 1957 122RV it is a close second. If you can't get an older Leslie I would Highly recommend buying this
