OVERVIEW

Great tone and beyond practice-level power from a revolutionary hybrid speaker.

The HD75 Bass Combo packs Hartke's revolutionary HyDrive speakers into a sleek model capable of greatly enriching your low-end tone and with enough power to handle any rehearsals space or small performance venues. The HD combo also maintains Hartke's commitment to producing high-quality bass amplification with exceptional durability.

The HyDrive Design
The HD75 (75 watts, 12" driver, 1" tweeter) employs Hartke's patented HyDrive Speaker Technology that offers a carefully crafted hybrid (half paper, half aluminum) cone bass speaker. By combining the warmth and roundness of paper with the punch and attack of aluminum, the HyDrive design produces serious tone that is ideal for bass players of all genres and styles.

Solid, but with Style
Packed with professional features, the HD75 combo is designed to be user-friendly and reliable for players of all levels. The combo offers Volume, Bass, Mid and Treble controls on its top-mounted amplifier panel, as well as a 7-band graphic EQ, allowing for easy adjustments. It features a full effects loop, as well as an 1/8" stereo Aux input for playing along with your favorite tracks via an MP3 player and a 1„4" headphone output for more intimate practice sessions. In addition, the HD75 has a built-in limiter to ensure constant amp operation at safe levels. Lastly, its solid enclosure is finished in a stylish fashion with a sleek, perforated metal grill and molded strap carry handle.

Comments about Hartke HD75 75W 1x12 Bass Guitar Combo:

I was looking for a practice amp and ran across the Hartke HD 75...I have used Hartke before and was always satisfied with the quality and sound of their amps and with the high drive speaker installed the sound is fantastic...The amp is a little heavy at 30 pounds or so but it is built like a tank! This amp to my surprise would be great for small club gigs...I am going to put some wheels on mine as at 62 years old it fills more like fifty pounds...Also it is the quietest of any amp I have ever used...When I turn it on and hook up my Bass I have to pluck my strings to make sure it is really on! Buy it, you will have no regrets!

Comments about Hartke HD75 75W 1x12 Bass Guitar Combo:

Took the plunge on the HD75 based on my experience with Hartke's Kickback 10 and several cabinets I used back when I was gigging the that late nineties and early 2000s. So far the combo has exceeded my expectations serving as a practice amp and small venue rig. The tweeter and EQ facilitate a great mix of highs and lows that I love while also allowing just the right level of mids. After a few days I picked up a combo amp stand and it took things to a even higher level. Very powerful in that I don't like to crank it past 2.5 when practicing at home as the posters and photos in my practice space literally shake. In addition, I'm happy that it doesn't have the old carpet-like finish on the other Hartke products I've owned. Solid construction. I think I'll be holding on to this baby for years, so I also bought a cover for it.

Comments about Hartke HD75 75W 1x12 Bass Guitar Combo:

Got this for a compact practice combo in a small studio, and was Very pleased with the tone & sound even with all settings at neutral. I play Zons with active/passive preamps and midrange controls , and effects pedals, so I don't use any amp EQ's. I chose this over the Ampeg 15" due to overall better pro-musician reviews. It has a heft to it, but that shouldn't preclude gigging small venues. There you certainly could use the amp's on-board goodies to fit your sound to the specific room. This has plenty of power with no distortion.
