I got this amp so i could play at the house and not bother my wife, and also to practice with before a gig. This thing is a 15w practice amp. There is not much to it but it does what it's supposed to do. The above poster that said it was junk because it wouldn't produce with his band, really? It's 15w and you act suprised because it can't handle a band setting? It's a great, light amp if you get with the expectation that it is just for practice and nothing else.

Some little practice amps produce much bigger volume and tone than you might expect. This little amp does not. Even in a small 12X15 rehearsal room, it was unable to produce enough volume to keep up with a very low volume band rehearsal. We worked with it for about 3 minutes and that was all it took for us to decide to return it. We have a cheapo Rocktron practice amp that we paid a very similar price for that blows this little Ibanez away. Keep on making great guitars Ibanez, but you need to go back to the drawing board on this one. I think the only person this amp would appeal to is a parent who does not want to hear their kid playing their bass at home...this amp is perfect if you are seeking an amp that barely amplifies...hey, but at least it looks like a real amp.
