I wanted a reliable, simple wah pedal without a huge footprint.
I am not a pedalboard guy, and aside from my amp's channel footswitch and an occasional Tube Driver, I don't want anything more coloring my sound or complicating my life. This wah lets me simply use a wah when I want one and ignore it when I don't. It is never off when I want it on, never on when I want it off. It makes almost no sound turning on/off, and lets me know with a dim LED when I should put in a new battery.
It sounds great, very expressive and smooth. It seems built very well. I expect years of reliable use in gigging conditions.
You can dial in the amount of wah boost on the pedal, which makes it very flexible for use in many situations.
There is no switch or the "click" associated with it! As soon as you step on it, it turns on, and then turns off after you take your foot off. There is an adjustable delay to turn off the pedal, which is useful, and I found that I really enjoy the feel of a "spring-return" in the pedal.
The footpedal itself has a good range of motion for a variety of expressive sounds.
If you think that most Crybaby wahs:
1) make too much noise turning on/off (no indicator, either)
2) have a squeaky pedal with not enough range of motion
3) Give too little boost if early in the signal path/too much if inserted after other pedals.
...then you might want to give this one a try.
Along with the volume knob, I would have loved frequency range and Q knobs, too. Just wishful thinking...
I've used it for about a half-dozen funk and rock gigs so far and love it!
It seems to be built very sturdily and sounds great. It seems as durable as a Crybaby and then some.
This pedal is very quiet and does not suck tone when bypassed!
It is fairly hungry for 9V batteries, but it does have a connector for a 9VDC adapter.
Great value! Seriously, I know I am happier with this pedal than I would be with most of the $150+ models that I see. Considering the quality of the case and components, I am really impressed with the price.

Love the adjustable auto-off feature that allows me to select when the wah turns off after I've taken my foot off the pedal. Amazing price for a foot activated wah. Tone is sweeter than a Dunlop Cry Baby. Beautiful companion to my Morley Power Wah! By the way, the Stupid Deal of the Day is wicked cool!!

Comments about Ibanez WD7JR Weeping Demon Wah Junior Guitar Effects Pedal:
I bought this wah as a result of one of MF's crazy deals of the day. It was cheap enough, reputable make (Ibanez) so I said, what the heck. I use it in my home recording studio and I can't think of anything bad to say about it. It's easy to use, great sound and easy to control the effects. I also have an EHX fuzz wah which is a bit more difficult to use but nonetheless a great product also. I guess you can say I'm a bit wah wah for wah wah's.

Comments about Ibanez WD7JR Weeping Demon Wah Junior Guitar Effects Pedal:
I like the switchless-ness of the Morley brand but the pedal is huge on my board. This is a nice smaller version. It has good adjustments - especially the foot tension. The wah is wah but not too shrill and not too dense. This was a good pickup and a great add to my pedal world.

Comments about Ibanez WD7JR Weeping Demon Wah Junior Guitar Effects Pedal:
Nice WAH it has the classic sound but it is smoother than the old type units and it has more control options with the Auto-off and level setings. I like the push lock buttons it makes it nice to know the levels are set where you left them. I also like the fact that it is self returning to the up position and that this tension is adjustable for comfort. Overall decent unit especially for the stupid deal price I got it for, but it is worth the money at regulat price if you want a good WAH imo.

Comments about Ibanez WD7JR Weeping Demon Wah Junior Guitar Effects Pedal:
I've owned a lot of wah pedals over the years..got this one as the stupid deal. I liked the auto on function of my Morley Mark Tremonti pedal but always hated the tone and range . This pedal satisfied my need for auto on off and has great cry baby like tone. It's a keeper and a permanent part of my pedalboard.

Comments about Ibanez WD7JR Weeping Demon Wah Junior Guitar Effects Pedal:
I love the fact that the auto-on starts in the bass position (unlike my CryBaby which I had to kick on in the treble position). I also love the great price!
