Here's what you need to know. Plywood not mdf construction, convertible between closed or open back, Eminence speakers (imported but they sound good), and a direct out. I almost bought a 1x12 speaker cab for the same price before I found this cab. I have never seen this much cab for the money, even in a used cab. I run a Marshall class 5 into one speaker and a Vox AC-4 into the other and it sounds flat out amazing. If you're looking for a 2x12 8ohm mono, or 16ohm stereo cab this is THE cab you want.

This cab is advertised to have a 1/4" thru output for powering a second cab in parallel, but no such output exists. I bought it to use with a 112 cab which I already own and was disappointed to learn that the specs have been misrepresented here at MF as well as every other retailer AND on Jet City's own web site. I called "customer service" - a man who works for Global Audio and not Jet city answered my call. He informed me that the specs were in fact incorrectly printed and now the cab is on its way back to MF's warehouse.

The sound is ok, the fact that it's convertible is awesome, the "mic sim" is not the greatest but the fact that it's even there at all is very cool. I'm just disappointed that I'm not able to use this cab in the manner I had hoped.

Comments about Jet City Amplification JCA24S+ 2x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet 200W:

My amp showed up from UPS in a very jacked up box...I was quite surprised to see my product looking unharmed. Got it all hooked up to my JCM 900 4100 Head and it sounds great with my Fender. Swap over to my B.C. Rich and the E string is producing a buzz in the cab...sounds like a "farting" speaker. :(

So I contact MF for a replacement...item is discontinued and not an option. Register the cab with JCA and get a response within 2 hours from the Product Marketing Manager, Doug. He's going to ship me out a new speaker, since I feel comfortable with swapping that out.

Now that's pretty darn good customer service. They do back their product and I do feel like the speaker issue is just a fluke. Build quality of the cabinet is way beyond that of other cabinets in it's price range. Light and efficient, can be a legit replacement instead of lugging around a 4x12 configuration.

Sounds shockingly good. I bought this to have a practical cab I could use with a Mesa Stiletto Ace head (basically marshall tone) and it holds its own against my Mesa 4x12 Rectifier. I might actually even prefer it for bright marshall style amps. Don't hesitate to buy it as an inexpensive, light, and most importantly great-sounding cab for all your needs.

Comments about Jet City Amplification JCA24S+ 2x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet 200W:

I have owned this cab for about a year now and I love it. I've paired it with my Orange OR15 and it sounds amazing.

Possitives: I have always been partial to Eminence speakers and these are exactly what I wanted. Nice full bass-end with present mids and sparkly (but not harsh) highs. Perfect for an Orange (I am not fond of the V30's that Orange uses in their cabs). The ability to switch this into an open-back is a huge plus and something that I always look for. I would not hesitate to buy another with my next amp purchase even if I wasn't on a budget. Nice solid construction that holds up to bounces and tumbles.

Negatives: I do not like the direct out but I have used it for mixing in with some clean tracks. The fact that it is there is still a plus, I just wish it cut the signal to the speaker for silent recording. I also can not see through the grill cloth to see where the speaker is (even with a flashlight in the dark) so I just move the mic around until it sounds good and then lock it in place with a cab-grabber. Well...that's all for the negatives.

Overall this is a great product. Highly recomended.

Comments about Jet City Amplification JCA24S+ 2x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet 200W:

This cab sounds great and runs well in mono. Very good with low and high volumes, high gain and low gain. Unfortunately when I tried running the cab stereo, a head out of each speaker using an A/B/Y switch only one head would come out of one speaker. It was like the last head to get plugged in worked and the one that was already in the cab was disengaged. I then tried to go through a delay pedal with stereo out puts into each head. Then from the heads to the cab in stereo. Again, no help. So I'm in the process on contacting jet city, global audio, and MF about this issue. I hope it can be resolved.

..also, I received the cab NEW with the package opened, a piece of foam missing, a cracked jet city logo on it, a dent on the front tolex, and obviously the stereo issues...

I would bot recommend this for someone who wants extremely high end sound, wants to daisy chain(it cant do that btw) and wants to run stereo...but, I would still recommend this for the guitar played just going guitar to amp to cab running all mono.

                      I give it a 10
I was just looking for an inexpensive 2x12 cab to play an old Line 6 75 watt head that I had stored in my attic that I forgot I had. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from this cabinet, but once I hit my first chord, I was blown away by how good it sounded. Great low end and very clear. For the $$$, you can't go wrong.
Great. No complaints. Cab seems and feels very solid.
For an in inexpensive cabinet, you can't go wrong.

Comments about Jet City Amplification JCA24S+ 2x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet 200W:

Overall, I'd say it's a great 2x12 cab. If I had a need for the 4x12, I would have gone that route, but, I have enough 4x12's, and wanted something smaller to mate up with my smaller amp...
Has a DI on the back, not used it yet, so, don't know what it sounds like, but most cabs don't have one, so plus a point there. It's also got a removable panel in the back so you can run it as a closed back or open back cab, which, again, most cabs do not have.
Sounds better out of the box than most 2x12 cabs I've had before (Marshall 1936, Avatar 2x12). It coordinates well with my Jet City JCA22H amp both in sound and function, but that's expected. If I was to complain, I'd say it's lacking a BIT in the bottom end, and it's a BIT top-endy...but overall it sounds pretty good out of the box.
It, like most of Jet City's offerings, are an excellent value...a lot of great tones for very little cost. Made in China though, for what that means to some...
