The Luna is perfect for getting a wide variety of killer rocks tones. its so dynamic and easy to dial in to so many desired tones. Favorite Setup: Les Paul and Marshall amp. It sounds great with Stratocaster too.

This is without a doubt the best overdrive pedal I have ever played and purchased! I lost sleep over this last night because I was so excited about finding the holy grail of overdrive tone! You will not regret buying this! especially if you are a tone purist!
Awesome feaures! I was deciding between this and a mucho boosto. I chose this because both of them could overdrive my amp nicely and keep the amps natural tone but, the keeley also gave me more tonal options on top of that! It seems like there isn't a bad setting on this pedal either. very crunchy if you wants and very smooth if you choose. Plus you cant see it in the picture but the pain job this is awesome! Looks like outer space.
Awesome build quality! Its a Keeley! Built like a tank with high quality components.
At first I had a hard time paying for this but after I did I had no regrets! I have paid much higher than this for other pedals and have been very dissapointed in the past! Once you hear this you will know that this is worth the price! I was shy about buying the compressor from keeley as well but after seeing the result of what I got with the Luna overdrive I will also be getting keeleys compressor soon! Price does not matter for this quality of tone!

I don't buy a lot of pedals and this is the first one I've paid this much for. It really does have a higher level of sound quality than lower-priced pedals I have used. Stiking a chord or bending a note, I am impressed with the ability of the pedal to add so much to the sound without subtracting from the guitar tone and subtleties of the sound of the intrument.
The high and low controls are active and beyond the "12 o'clock" position, they are adding bass or treble, respectively. With the toggle switch and the drive and master controls, you can obtain a fairly wide array of sounds.
Very solid construction. The pedal feels very solid and sturdy. It is notably smaller than the standard pedal (such as a boss pedal), but is substantial enough to stay in place on the floor.
It is a comparatively expensive unit, but it seems to be a case of getting what you pay for.

Buy this if you have limited space. you can combine this with a omega drive or rumble mod or ecstasy and get anything but metal. or you can use this as a nice gain boost for your box of metal, fullbore metal or metal muff. anyway you use it you will not be disappointed. I have played and tried many effects (Hao, Boss, Digitech, Lovepedal, Fulltone, Earthquaker, Radial, Catalinbread, Wampler). This is one of the best I've ever heard, played or owned.
This pedal is great. It has 4 knobs and a mini switch. The knobs are simple enough, Treble, Bass, Volume, Gain.
The switch changes between low and high gain settings. The modded or higher gain selection will also give you a significant boost in volume. The extra gain from the modded section can give you up to fuzz sounds. Now keep in mind that if you want those extreme sounds of the fuzz factory you cannot get them from this pedal. it is more like big muff or the more vintage fuzz's. This is a much lighter more transparent fuzz.
When you are in the classic mode you can get everything from clean boost and treble or bass boost up to tubescreamer and moderate rock sounds.
If you add a gain boost before and a equalizer after you can get those metal and grunge sounds. I would not recomend this to those who want crunchy or thrash metal. This is more of the sounds leading up too.
The quality of this is up to the reputation of keeley. It has the full rich sound that I have been looking for over many years. I currently use this pedal in the following order
Java Boost->Rumble Mod->Luna Overdrive->Ecstasy->Gen 5 Echo->Hall of Fame. With this setup, I can get all the sounds I need. I love this especially with my ecstasy. the ecstasy is similar but is a bit thicker. I make the luna brighter more lead, then use the ecstasy with a little more mid/bass sounds and mix them together. That fills out the overall sound and gives a very rich lead.
The only thing is it is expensive. No "problems" with the sound. The cost is expected at this level of quality.
