Big amp tones and features.

The 10W Kustom KG110 combo guitar amplifier boasts a 10" Kustom speaker for big tones, rugged dependability, and intuitive operation. Unlike most 10W guitar amps, the Kustom KG110 provides separate Lead and Rhythm channels and Bass and Treble controls.

The KG110 amp's Rhythm channel offers clear, dynamic tones that are perfect for a wide variety of musical styles. Using the Gain control, the Lead channel can dish out anything from classic rock sounds to the heaviest, modern metal tones. Use the Bass and Treble controls to dial in the best EQ for your instrument.

Like every Kustom KG amplifier, the KG110 offers an auxiliary input for plugging in an MP3 or CD player to practice along with tunes and a 1/8" headphone input that silences the internal speaker for late-night playing. Your family and neighbors will love it.

All KG Series amplifiers include a 5-year, transferable electronics warranty to give you extra peace-of-mind with your purchase. For tone, features and value, you'd be hard-pressed to beat the Kustom KG110 combo.

Comments about Kustom KG110 10W 1x10 Guitar Combo Amp:

This amp is what it is, if your looking for a amp for easy chair jams this is the one if your looking to shatter glass in the jam room this is not the one. the lead channel is muddy and is low end. the clean channel is rich and clean at low volume that you can not push. The amp is built good the knobs are good I do not like the open back

Practice amp with bite

Comments about Kustom KG110 10W 1x10 Guitar Combo Amp:

Overall, it suits my needs as a practice amp, I needed something small to take with me cause my 6505 isnt fitting in the back of the car.

Using the built in gain can give you a variety of sounds if you tweak it, however, using a pedal to emulate the distortion will likely be much easier and yield better results. Using my pedal, I was able to achieve a sound similiar to early Metallica (Highs and lows all the way up and mids all the way down) or something more metal with percussion and high gain.

The amp sounds true and responds to all my guitars differently eccentuating all the characteristics of each of my guitars.
It's pretty basic as far as features go. There is volume controls for both channels, which is a plus, gain and volume for overdrive channel, and just a volume for the clean channel. The EQ goes over both channels and has a low and high, as you rotate the treble knob clockwise, it tends to scoop out the mids, and vice versa when you roll it back. Standard sized (1/8") headphone out and aux in jacks are defintely a plus.

If you plan on using this amp just for the clean channel, it is excellent, however, the overdrive channel is muddy at best, you can get some clean sounds out of it, but keeping the EQ favorable for both channels at the same time will be something hard to compromise on. I ran my Hardwire Metal Distortion pedal through it to give me the gain i needed, and it doesn't disappoint.

Due to the open back, it has a very flowey sound to it, its not a very tight sounding speaker, however it does sound good, just not the best pick for metal.
Quality is decent on this little amp....there is some binding on mine that is not aligned with the trim properly, but that is purely aesthetic. The knobs have a nice solid feel to them, not too loose or tight.
There are some other 10 watt amps that cost less than this one, but not many of them have a 10" speaker or as many tone options as this one does either. I picked this amp because of the name, I've had Kustom amps before and they dont disappoint, they are nice sounding for the money, and the smaller sized headphone and aux jacks make it much more appealing for a practice amp than others.
