Dual 10" speakers provide punch in the upper-midrange and a wider spread of sound on stage.

The 20W Kustom KG210FX combo guitar amplifier boasts dual 10" Kustom speakers, 2 channels and both reverb and delay effects. Kustom designed the KG210FX combo to offer a wide range of clean and dirty tones while providing rugged dependability and intuitive operation.

The KG210FX amp's Rhythm channel offers clear, dynamic tones that are perfect for a wide variety of musical styles. Using the Gain control, the Lead channel can dish out anything from chunky Classic Rock sounds to the heaviest, modern Metal tones out there. Separate Bass, Middle and Treble controls let players fine-tune the amp's tonal response as required.

In addition, the Kustom KG210FX provides built-in Reverb and Delay effects that may be activated on the amp's front panel. Reverb can provide anything from subtle room ambiance to an all-out wash of cavernous sound. Delay is perfect for fattening up lead tones, especially when combined with distortion.

Like every Kustom KG amplifier, the KG210FX offers an auxiliary input for plugging in an MP3 or CD player to practice along with tunes and a 1/8" headphone input that silences the internal speakers for late-night playing. Your family and neighbors will love it. An Effects Loop with Send and Return jacks provides flexibility for integrating external effects and processors.

All KG Series amplifiers include a 5-year, transferable electronics warranty to give you extra peace-of-mind with your purchase.

It's not a Marshall stack, or some boutique European plaything. It's a simple, affordable tool for those of us who aren't hung up on name brands, and don't have record company budgets. As long as you remember that, you will love this amp.
Let's face it. You're not going to buy this amp if you've got money to burn. So, let's get real. This amp has a terrific clean channel. Fortunately, that's all I really need. I pair it with a Digitech RP 500 pedalboard. And, it makes the sounds I want it to make.
WARNING: IF YOU'RE A DEDICATED METALHEAD, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
The distortion on the gain channel sucks. And, their isn't nearly enough saturation, even at full gain. The best you can do is some bluesy, classic rock sound.
It has a footswitch jack, but READ THE MANUAL. The footswitch has two functions, your basic channel switch and what I call the "wish I was a Marshall trick". It's a volume boost, supposedly for that extra oomph when playing solos. But, at low volume the boost is too big. And, at high volume the treble gets way too tinny when boosted.
If you're a beginning guitarist on a budget, or just need some cheap power, then this is the best you will do for the price. For a 20-watt amp, the 2x12 speakers are actually nice and loud, just remember it's only 20-watts. But, it will power all your practices and most of your gigs without having to mic it.
I've only had this thing about 4 months and I've put it through heck. I nearly blew up the effects loop the first day I had it (ALWAYS CHECK YOUR OUTPUT VOLUMES AND NEVER CONNECT/DISCONNECT GEAR WITH THE POWER ON). It's been knocked over and fallen off the tailgate and then played a gig without so much as a hiccup. I would have given it a 10, but I have yet to spill a beer on it.
Leave it to Kustom to always provide value. The KG210 is everything you'd expect for the price and nothing you don't. If you don't get all the features in the world, just keep the receipt. Pair it with a good pedalboard. And, when those trendy, fashion-slaves with their Marshalls and their Fenders start bragging, show them what you paid for it.

for the price. under 90 with 2 year warranty added on, and free shipping, cant go wrong. thing sounds pretty good on clean channel. couldnt honestly expect any more for the price ! 2 ten inch speakers in this price range is unheard of. they do pretty well and a lot of bang for the buck. bought this as a second guitar amp for screwing around at home. possibly use for midi keyboard or drum machine. have to check the specs. Comments about Kustom KG210FX 20W 2x10 Guitar Combo Amp with Digital Effects:

For someone looking for an inexpensive twin speaker amp, this is a great deal. This amp is a loud, roaring beast. The 2x10 format gives it a great deal of punch, especially in the upper midrange. On the clean ("rhythm") setting it is very bright with an even sound. The three EQ knobs add a lot of tonal variety. The "lead" channel is really crunchy and will feed back nicely when notes, especially open strings, are allowed to sustain for a while. (I also have the Kustom KG112FX which is also a 20 watt model. While the 112 is a bit more tonally responsive, the 210 has more presence and is better suited for playing live.)

I tested the amp using a mahogany topped Les Paul Studio model and a MIM Stratocaster Standard and found them to both be well served by this amp. I was able to get a lot of different sounds, from mellow jazz to a Deep Purple/Led Zeppelin thunder. (I really have to say that it made the Strat shine brightly - if you're a Strat player, you will love the sound on both the lead and rhythm channels.)

This is the loudest 20 watt amp I have ever played. It has the feel of a miniature stack given the sonic blast it is capable of producing. It may not be the hammer of the gods but it definitely qualifies as the bludgeon of the gods. In keeping with my Cherokee ancestry, I've named it "Thunder Box".

On the downside, there is a slight hiss to the "lead" channel but you don't hear it when you are blasting away. Personally, I prefer to stay on the clean channel and use my MXR Distortion+ for the noisier segments. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of a loud and aggravating popping noise that you'll hear when turning off the power switch. The 112 also makes this noise so it must be the switch and not a manufacturing defect. I turn down the volume before I switch off the power to keep from possibly damaging the speakers.

The onboard FX are pretty much useless, not unlike the 112 in this regard. The reverb is too "sproingy" and the delay is barely audible. The amp itself has a nice retro look to it, sorta like the Vox amps used by The Beatles.

In the final analysis, I am very satisfied with this amp. Kustom makes good and very affordable amps for musicians on a budget.

This amp was purchased during the Independence Day Doorbusters Sale but even at the regular price, this is a great buy.

Return with us now to those thrilling days of yesteryear - When a guitar amp could be used without an engineering degree. This is a basic straightforward, easy to use unit. Lightweight and amazingly powerful for a 20 watt rated amp. Killer clean channel. No foot switch jack though. (Use a pedal!) The build construction and material are VERY nice at this price point. No complaints here. I got mine on the half price sale. Still a good value at the regular price, IMHO. I have been buying all kinds of equipment for over 50 years, and I'm with the guy that said, " Anyone that wants anymore for their money is never satisfied."

          Perfect for my purpose!

          By Nathan Williams

          from Leicester, NC

Comments about Kustom KG210FX 20W 2x10 Guitar Combo Amp with Digital Effects:

The only reason I gave it a five for features is that the overdrive, reverb, and delay aren't really that good, but the amazing clean channel definitely makes up for it, which brings me to the main point:
It is perfect for me because I already use a multi-effects pedal, so I only needed a great clean sound. If you're looking for an all-in-one sort of deal, this amp isn't it. But, as I said before, it does have an amazing clean sound, and the dual speakers are certainly an improvement over my 8-inch Marshall practice amp! If you're in the market for an affordable, great sounding base to build on with your own effects, and that has presence, but won't blow the windows out, buy it! You won't regret it.

Comments about Kustom KG210FX 20W 2x10 Guitar Combo Amp with Digital Effects:

This is not a high dollar or high wattage piece of equipment. It does need a footswitch but, it has good tone. It is a great amp for home use and small areas. I've not hooked it to a cabinet yet. I am very happy with this purchase. Kustom has done well in this area of good amp's at a great price. A excellent first amp or jam amp for practice with the band.

Pleasantly surprised, but it's not for everyone

Comments about Kustom KG210FX 20W 2x10 Guitar Combo Amp with Digital Effects:

Ok, first of all, I like Kustom gear. I have used Kustom mains, wedges and amps (both bass and guitar) for years. Mainly because as a professional musician they were affordable on my meager earnings. For the most part I haven't had any problems with any of their products and have gotten reliable service from everything I've ever owned of theirs. I did have a Kustom pa head crap out on me, but's for the most part, their stuff is very well made for the money. Totally recommend Kustom gear for working musicians on a tight budget. This amp really surprised me. I play a mix of blues/rock-a-billy/country/cajun/swampy/funky mish- mash of music, mostly original, and I play through a hollowbody of my own design with twin P-90s. And I think I found my sound with this little amp. I got it mainly because everything else I tried was either too woofy (112 and 212) or too boxy (single 10). Somebody recommended I try a 210, and for the price I thought I'd give the KG210FX a try. If I don't like it, return it, simple as that. I was really impressed with how my playing came alive and for the first time I didn't have to fight the guitar or tone of the amp. Playing was very comfortable and my ears didn't get tired like they do playing thru Fenders (sorry Leo). I dialed in a great tone (somewhere in between jazzy, early Chuck Berry and John Fogerty). Hell I even used it the next night at a gig. Sounded great. Everyone commented afterwards about what a great tone I had. I know right? I couldn't believe a 20 watt SOLID STATE amp gave me what I have been searching for. No one is more surprised than I. I even ordered a second one and am going to try to run them together for extra volume in bigger rooms. OK, that being said, this amp isn't for everybody. Do not get this amp if you're looking for anything other than a great clean/jazzy tone. I play a hollowbody and she has always been a temperamental guitar and I have to fight with her playing live most of the time, but this amp tamed that unruly side. She will still feed back as all hollowbody's do, but I can control it for the first time and gives me the tone I've wanted for a while. Why don't you just get a different guitar? Well Sharleen and I go back a long ways and I designed her, and even made some of the parts, so I needed to find something that matched her and not the other way around. The dirty channel is useless to me. Really piercing high end super crunchy, hissy, noisy as hell and just awful. It will probably sound great in the right hands with the right guitar. But it's not for me. The FX are crap too. Sorry Kustom, but the reverb sounds super cheap. Put a real spring in this thing for pete sake. The delay is the same. Total garbage. For a little overdrive I'll get a Fulltone or Tube Screamer, but for now I'm not missing the overdrive. Missing having a nice reverb though. Might get Holy Grail or add a real spring tank in this thing, we'll see.Like I said this amp isn't for everyone, but for me, it just sings. Changed the way I played the other night at a show. Sounded great. I finally found the sound I've been looking for for many years now and I can finally relax on stage and just play. It seems well made and most of Kustom gear is, has cool retro styling, and is just great for my needs. Can't wait to use the 2 of them together because 20 watts only go but so loud before the speaker's start to fart up or just blow entirely. Thanks Kustom!
