Line 6

The burly, full-sized pedal feels solid under your foot and features plenty of speed, tone, and control.

Line 6 FBV Shortboard MKII Footswitch isn't your average footcontroller. It's a full-on remote control that keeps you at the foot of the stage instead of tied to the front of your Line 6 amp or POD processor. It offers all the classic advantages you expect from a Line 6 foot controller, including rock-solid channel switches, a rugged wah/volume pedal and an oversized backlit display, but it's also full of surprises.

The steel footswitches give you total control over your tone. Dedicated footswitches let you change, scroll and select presets with uncompromised speed, add or remove effects in an instant, synchronize all your time-based effects with Tap Tempo, and more.

Load up to 64 presets in the 4 banks. Adding individual or simultaneous effects on top of each preset allows for on-the-fly colorization and customization of your tones. An added bonus: the well-spaced guitar footswitches are conveniently laid out so that you're not stepping on two at once (unless you want to).

Click the toe to volley back and forth between volume and wah-wah control. (Adding an expression pedal provides dedicated volume control.) Oversized and backlit, the LCD is big, bright and easy to read. It shows you everything you need to know including preset name chromatic tuner display.

Line 6 FBV Shortboard MKII is compatible with and connects to your Line 6 amp or POD processors via the included locking RJ-45 cable. The FBV footswitch also features a USB jack that can be used for upgrading the firmware of Spider IV and Spider Valve MKII amplifiers.

Perfectly paired with Spider IV and Spider Valve MKII amplifiers, this FBV Shortboard footswitch provides complete, handsfree control of the looper, pitch-shifter and other on-board effects.

Features

  • Total floor control of your Line 6 amp and POD
  • Reliable steel footswitches

  • Burly, full-sized volume/wah pedal with plenty of grip
  • Oversized and bright LCD displays chromatic presets and tuner
  • RJ-45 cable included
  • Back panel: USB jack, RJ-45 jack, 1/4-inch expression pedal jack

Get the most from your Line 6 amp and POD with FBV Shortboard MkII foot controller.

Flexible controller, works great with Spider Valve (the version before MKII)

I own a Spider Valve (the version before MKII), and I needed a way to control flang and delay wile singing.  This product is able to accomplish this.  The one little nit is that when you switch to a new channel, the shortboard only allows you to control these features if the channel had them enabled in the first place.  This is my experience anyway.  It is a small thing to overcome, but I would have preferred the ability to enable flang and delay after switching to a new channel and without having to get back to the amp first.

Features:

This is a great little shortboard. it has so many features, for than i care to use. As a lead singer in my band i dont really need all of these awsome features, all I really need is a clean and distortion but it has many many more. I bought it because our lead guitar player was flaking on alot of our shows so in times like that i needed to play lead guitar and sing, and this shortboard made it very easy to do so. It is a perfect size, looks great and i love the red lights for each switch. The lights really make it easy to see what presets im using on a dark stage. The only bad thing I can say about it is with the Tuner. Everything works great except when i am tuning half a step down. It gives me completly differnt notes than what I am looking for, I dont know if it is a manufacturers defect or if im doing something wrong. other than that it is great.

Quality:

Great quality. It is all metal so it is very solid. I like that it has alittle bit of weight to it. I am a big guy and need something stong to hold my weight when im stomping on it. It seems lik it will be with my setup for many years to come.

overall this is a great pedal. I love it and would strongly encorage any guitar player to buy it along with one of the line6 spider IV amps.

Great quality, very durable. I use this with my Line 6 Spider Valve MkII 112 amp whitch has endless tonal possibilities. With the MkII edit program you can get, and share tones with other users online. And you have total control of your amp and it's different settings from the switch. If you have a MkII amp this thing is a must, and a blast to play with too
