OVERVIEW

The vintage and modern amp tones you need.

The wide range of Spider IV 15 amp tone starts strong, with a bright and distinctive American clean tone, and then opens gradually to achieve the vintage grit and chime of classic British amplifiers. Experience the infamous "Brown" sound distortion, which is based on a '68 Marshall Plexi 100 with a Variac and jumped input channels, and a searing high-gain tone based on a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier.

With one-touch ease you can access 4 channels of world-class Line 6 tones that were masterfully dialed in by pro players. Plus, each channel also stores 4 complete amp settings of your own creation! Create, save and recall amp model, EQ, gain and effect settings with the push of a button. A wolf in sheep's clothing, Line 6 Spider IV 15 sounds ferocious at low volumes as well as cranked to 11. Plus, value-packed, the guitar amp puts pro sounds into a lightweight box that's small enough to tuck under your bed or desk. Joining the Line 6 community entitles you to top-tier customer service provided by Line 6 representatives and other Spider IV users. Get free Spider IV 15 amp settings for famous songs as well as free lessons, backing tracks, drum loops and more.

An Instant Collection of Essential FX
Line 6 Spider IV 15 Smart FX were inspired by sought-after stompbox and studio effects to deliver the same unique sounds, colors and textures celebrated by pro players. At your fingertips are 6 brilliant effect models. Discover the tangy Chorus/Flange, swirly Phaser, expressive Tremolo, beautiful Tape and Sweep Echoes, and syrupy Reverb. Plus, Tap Tempo syncs all your time-based effects. Two effects can be used simultaneously. Spend less time tweaking and more time rocking with Smart FX. Each knob lets you easily adjust the intensity of the chosen effect so you can get back to playing as quickly as possible.

Total Tone Flexibility
The easy-to-use front panel makes it a snap to find a stage-ready tone. Quickly and easily add some grit with the amp's Drive knob and some dimension (or dementia) with the wide variety of effects.

Need to shape your tone? Tweak the Bass, Mid, and Treble knobs just like you would on a vintage amplifier. When you choose an amp model, the Spider IV 15 EQ section behaves just like the EQ section of the modeled amplifier. Spider IV 15 guitar amp gives you a complete, organic, and fully authentic representation of each of its amplifier models.

The Line 6 Spider IV 15 provides all the flexibility and conveniences that guitarists expect from a world-class Line 6 amplifier. Jam along to your favorite music with the CD/MP3 input and play all night with the great-sounding headphone output (that doubles as a high-quality direct-recording output). Ups dropped it off yesterday, and it is everything I hoped, but better. The metal and insane channels are perfect. The clean is gorgeous, for a sort of metal clean tone. If you want to play a lot of Zeppelin or Pink Floyd, you might be better off with a Vypyr. but if you want Mettallica and Crue, to A7X, back to AC/DC and Aerosmith, youll love it. The metal channel is heavy as hell, and can still get up and throw piercing highs and mids. Everything is tight and punchy as hell. The biggest thing that shocked me was the clarity at seemingly stupid volumes for such a small amp. MF was out of stock when I ordered it, and I still had it in 7 days with free shipping. I highly recommend this amp to all metalheads. Thanks Musicians Friend and Line 6. RNFR

For the price, this is a very average amp. I believe there is far better to be had in this price range. I would only recommend it for an ABSOLUTE beginner who really won't be able to tell the difference in tone, and most importantly, has the money to replace it within a few months, which is the time it took me to outgrow this amp. The tone is perfectly usable for heavy metal, and there are a few singing lead tones to be had. However, the crunch and insane models are both horrible, and the tape echo is the only effect that doesn't sound annoyingly digital. My advice would be for anyone on a budget with a variety of taste in music to save up a little more and go for either a Peavey or a Fender Mustang.

Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 15 15W 1x8 Guitar Combo Amp:

I switched from bass to lead guitar about 2 years ago and by sheer dumb luck the first amp I bought was a line 6 120. I now own 7 of them and two are this 15 watt version. It has plenty to fill live gigs on its own and the sounds I get from this amp are amazing. From cathedral echo to ZZTop crank its all there at the touch of a button. I love this amp its the only one I use for every perfomance whether recorded or not

Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 15 15W 1x8 Guitar Combo Amp:

I purchased this amp for my kid to take lessons a couple of years ago. He gave up guitar but has taken up drums. Him and his friends decided to put a band together. They needed a guitar amp and I thought that there was no way this amp would be loud enough to play over the drums. Its obviously no half/full stack but it definitely gets the job done for practicing. For a 15 watt amp it is awesome, and sounds really good. Plus you can program your own combinations of effects to get a really unique sound.

Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 15 15W 1x8 Guitar Combo Amp:

I have an older line 6 15 watt that has been GREAT, but I ordered a second one for Church use. The "tap" button only worked on one effect & you could only change 2 of the presets. It sounded nothing like my older one. I returned it for a different brand which I have not received yet. I suggest if you buy one of these, check it out thoroughly with both your experience & their manual before settling down with it.

Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 15 15W 1x8 Guitar Combo Amp:

I've used one of the older amps. like this for 3 years & it's been terrific. I've also used a Pevey Vyper part time. The Line 6 makes the Pevey look & sound sick. I do several shows a month in small to medium places & this Line 6 sounds great & has plenty of volume for even bigger places. I plan on buying another one soon & "junking" the Pevey.

This is a very good practice amp I was suprised at how good it really sounded the trick is really just to take yr time and dial in the tone controls for each amp model I didnt like the crunch channel at first but after I took the time to dial it in I got it sounding really good I use the crunch channel more than any of them this amp is good for anything from classic rock to metal

Did I really need another amp? No...but when I played through this amp I was amazed at the sound quality, the transitions of clean and 3 distortion(s), the chorus, flanger, echo....all in one package. Wow!
This has to be the best bang for your buck in a small practice amp. I bought it on the spot! ( I actually was in the store checking out guitars...)

I love the high end Line 6 products, I have a spider valve 212 that is my main amp for my band, and it is amazing, but this little thing just in general is okay, but its nothing special. the distortion is fuzzy and just kinda empty sounding, but that is to be expected from a 15 W practice amp. Get a Marshall instead.
