Overall, this amp is excellent. If it were damaged, I would buy another one, though this amp is very durable. I have accidently knocked it a few times and it still plays very, very well. It is a pleasure to own and play this amp, as it is a great value and has a ton of effects. It is amazing and I would recommend it (in fact I have to people already!). So what are you waiting for? Go buy this amplifier!
This amp has probably the most effects you can get for the money! It has 12 amp channels: clean, blues, crunch, metal and insane just to name some. With each of those channels you can use 3 built in effects at a time, including chorus/phaser, reverb and three types of delay as well as tremolo effects and phaser. Using these effects in combination with the 3 band eq (bass, middle, treble) you can get pretty much any noise you want. You can get GREAT distortion at a low volume thanks to the modeling technology this amp uses. The features are a great step up from that of my Fender Frontman 15.
Great quality is the only thing you should expect from this amplifier. Super powerful distortion at low volumes, and crisp clean tones are at your hands and easily switched from one to the other using the footswitch which you can buy as an add on.
This amp is simply the best you can get for the price. If I hadn't seen the price tag on it, I would have assumed that it were worth a lot more. This amp gives you flexibility and effects at great price. It is great for practicing, as well for recording with the headphones/line out port. This is definitely an amp for anybody interested in something a step up from the basic bedroom/practice amp, and I would definitely recommend it to anybody.

Hey guys,
I have a Line 6 Spider IV 75W amp and I use it while I'm playing at home (not live), everything is awesome with that amp, the distortion sound is pretty good, I no longer use my distortion pedals since the time I've got this amp, it's the best sound you can get with the price you are paying among all other amps like Marshall, Fender,...
HOWEVER, we bought a Line 6 Spider IV 30W for my friend, that was merely useless. The sound had a huge difference with 75W one, not a slight resemblance!!! it was pretty weak and we returned it the day we got it.
Please test it before you're gonna buy.

Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 30 30W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:
CAUTION: Cannot handle an 8 String Baritone. LOL. I know it wasn't built too but I had to test if it could.
Everything about this amp is awesome for what it is. I only have one complaint. The built in tuner is horrible. You can get a cheap Chromatic Tuner that works perfectly. I wish there was a 4.8 star mark. But it still gets a 5 Star from me.

Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 30 30W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:
With all the things this amp is capable of and how cheap it is, there is nothing better. Adding on pedals and processors doesn't affect the amp at all, no fuzzes or anything accurs when playing the amp. I'd rank this amp to be almost as good as a marshall if not as good as one.
WARNING: this amp is very addicting and should be used only by people with tons of rockin time.
Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 30 30W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:
This is one of the best practice amps out there. If you can't stretch your dollar fore a high end Marshall or Mesa/Boogie, this is the amp for you. It has a nice smooth clean tone, but it can dish out the distortion in a heart beat.
This thing has a little bit of everything for a practice amp. The Distortion settings are excellent, each light has a red and green state. Each light is based of off different amps. From Hiwatt to Mesa/Boogie, this amp can dish out all kinds of sounds.
The Flanger and Phaser sound really good but the tremolo is not very good. It only seems to adjust the volume of the tremolo other then how fast it is. The Echo effects sound really good, although I don't use them very much.
For a practice amp, it's great! But don't expect to gig with it. The sound quality could be better, it has a very digital hum to it and you need to tinker around with the settings for a while to get the right sound out of it. Once everything is dialed in, you should have no problem
What can I say? For the price, you can't go wrong!
Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 30 30W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:
This is a great little amp for at home with good construction and tons of great sounds for every style! I would reccomend this amp to anyone looking for a good all around amp to jam on.
Has a bunch of neat effects and features for every style of music!
Great quality. This is my 2nd Line6 amp and they hold up very well!
Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 30 30W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:
I would strongly recommend purchasing the Line 6 Spider IV 30 watt combo!
This amp has some great features. I really like the reverb it sounds very natural. It also has great tone! I can really get a nice clean sound at 30 watts!
I was really surprised at the quality of this amp. I was very impressed it using the Celestian 10' speaker that can really handle the power.
I was also very impressed with the value! I think this a great deal for such a versatile amp.
Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 30 30W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:
This was my first guitasr amp ever, as i was beginning in learning lead guitar. And wow, what a great first amp to learn on. There are some great pro's and some cons as well. First off pro's:
The rock tone (particulary the crunch with the red LED light) is fantastic, however you have to mess with it a lot to get a good tone out of it. The spanky cleans are great as well. The versatality is great, as you can get some very different sounds all out of one amp, I would also recommend getting the Express Mk II footswitch with it as well.
Cons: the effects can be pretty cheesy if you don't edit them correctly. You've gotta mess with them quite a bit if you wanna get a good sound. Tape and sweep echo sound pretty good overall.
So if you wanna get a great first amp, on a budget, this is a steal! However if you've been playing for a little while and want to move to the next level when it comes to tone, then I'd get something else. If you are the latter, check out the Orange and Marshall modeling amps that I've heard are great and are at a similar price range.
