Smart FX
Smart FX knobs put award-winning Line 6 effects at your fingertips. Easy to use, Smart FX let you spend less time tweaking and more time playing. Quickly add or remove any amount of the 20 lush reverbs, exceptional echoes, tangy mods, and more. Make all your adjustments on the fly—all the knobs are on the front panel. Up to 4 Smart FX can be used simultaneously.

Go deeper into FX
This Line 6 amp lets you deep dive into your effects like never before! Every effect is fully adjustable up to 7 parameters deep, including pre- and post-amplifier routing. Sculpt your delays, mods, reverbs, pitch effects, and more with unparalleled control.

Spider FX Infusion
What's better than more effects? More effects for free! Spider FX Infusion (a free download from Line6.com) more than doubles your amount of Smart FX. Beef up your Line 6 Spider IV 75 with 28 additional overdrives, compressors, delays, reverbs, mods, and wahs. You'll have more effects than any other modeling amplifier.

Pitch effects (Smart Harmony and Pitch Glide)
Smart Harmony is Line 6's first intelligent pitch shifter. It's fast-tracking and easy to use. Harmonize using major, minor, pentatonic, whole tone, and other types of scales. (Don't worry, you don't need to know music theory to use Smart Harmony).

Pitch Glide is most effective when used with an optional FBV MkII footcontroller. Use the footpedal to smoothly shift your tone up or down to any interval within a 4-octave range. The effect can be calibrated to semitones, or to 10-cent increments to create cool chorus/detuning effects.

Quick loop
Quick Loop is a 14-second sound-on-sound looper that's ideal for writing songs, practicing solos, jamming, and even dialing in your tone. Easy to use, Quick Loop's controls are all on the front panel. Connect an FBV MkII footcontroller for handsfree control of the looper functions.

Simultaneous FX
Use up to 8 effects at the same time! Pour on the colors and textures with all 4 Smart FX, set the adjustable Boost and the Noise Gate, activate Quick Loop, and connect an FBV MkII footcontroller to kick on the volume/wah pedal. How many other amplifiers can do that?

Speak up
Celestion guitar speakers are world renowned for their exceptional definition, clarity, and feel. And that's just what they give to Line 6 Spider IV 75. The 1x12" Celestion custom speaker helps clean tones sparkle and sing, creamy overdrives respond to the intricacies of your picking, and searing brutal tones launch themselves from the cabinet.

Manual mode
Manual mode draws a more traditional amplifier experience out of Line 6 Spider IV 75 guitar amp. When Manual mode is activated, all front-panel knobs work independently of one another. (Out of Manual mode, choosing an amp model may adjust the settings of the other front-panel knobs.)

Stay focused
To get the whole story of Spider IV 75 amplifier, you need to turn one around. It features a perfectly tuned three-quarter closed-back speaker cabinet. This provides a tight, punchy, focused response that you can't get from an open-back guitar speaker cab.

Tune up
You'll always sound your best with the Line 6 guitar amp's built-in tuner. No need for an external tuner or additional guitar cables, this invaluable tool is integrated into the amp's front panel. Activate the tuner with the push of a button.

Window to the soul
A large, two-line LCD is your window into Line 6 Spider IV 75. This is where you can deep dive into effects and adjust their parameters, scroll over 500 presets, see the tuner interface, name your user-created presets, get a visual representation of where your Smart FX knobs are set, and more.

Downloads and upgrades
Keep your Line 6 Spider IV 75 guitar amp up to date with an FBV MkII footcontroller. Connect the Spider IV 75 to Line6.com via an FBV MkII footcontroller to receiver valuable software and firmware updates and upgrades. These updates may include new features, presets, or effects for your Line 6 amp.

Foot controllers
FBV Express MkII delivers hands-free channel switching; FBV Shortboard MkII is a full-on remote control. They both feature a full-sized volume/wah pedal, chromatic tuner display, bright LEDs, durable footswitches and chassis, and more. They keep you at the foot of the stage instead of tied to the front of your Spider IV 75. They also feature USB connectivity for keeping your Spider IV 75 up to date. (Footcontrollers sold separately.)

I have been a Musician for over 40 yrs. and I never dreamed that I would ever own an amp that had this kind of capability, Totally Awesome! I could go on and on about this amp because it seems like every time I fire it up I discover something new and different. If all that did was just use this amp at home I could not ask for more but, I plan on using it to gig with too and turn loose some of these effects and presets on the crowds that we play for and, give them real ear candy. Buy this amp you will not be disappointed.
This is a follow up from a posting I did a short while ago. This amp is everything that I expected and then some. There are so many features and, different tones and options in this amp that it cannot just be taken for granted. If all that you want to do is plug in and play you can definately do just that but, add the FBV Shortboard MK II and truly the sky's the limit. This amp to me is a super hotrodded feature added version of my original Flextone amp that Line6 first came out with. One main large difference between these two is that you can add or remove effects in the preset modes on the Spider but not on the Flextone, this is a very Large improvement that I have always wished that I could do. For the money spent this amp cannot be beat period......
I own several Line6 products and I have had no problems with any of them that to me is good quality.
For the money spent there's nothing out there that can touch it.

All amps are held in place by the 4-6 head screws to their cab. This one Is NOT. It is GLUED into place and screwed to a sliding header board inside the cab. SO, if it ever needs small repairs, scrap it. Costs more to repair than the things worth. I tried asking Line 6 repair direct. Told me to drop dead. Would not help me at all. I called around to shops that are listed as repair shops..they ALL told me the same thing. Scrap it. You have to remove all the Tolex, cut the glue lines and only then can you force the head forward out of the cab for repairs. Leaving the CAB as junk. So, never again will I buy one BEFORE I can see how the brain comes out of it.

Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 75 75W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

Well I first started with the Fender Mustang III V.2 and after a few weeks of tinkering with it I couldn't a heavy distortion I liked. The cleans are great on the mustang but wasn't satisfied so I exchanged it for this spider and it has been great for the first day. The negatives about the spider when compared to the Mustang it doesn't come with a footswitch, no usb port to customize presets easily. Positives about the Spider the tones are all there for a practice amp. I forgot you can get a footswitch for the spider but it's an additional 200 and with the footswitch there's a USB port to edit on your computer. Another thing I liked about the spider when compared to the mustang is its screen I know the mustang's is bigger and better but the major thing the mustang lacks is location i couldn't stand that that it was on top rather than the spiders which is facing you. on that bombshell I say farewell!

Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 75 75W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

This is a very cool amp. For this price and with the 1,000 for features this is a great amp. It respond well to adjustments in the Drive,Bass,Mids, and Treble but some times you really have to turn the knobs to get the tone you want. This amp has 3 FX Knobs and 3 FX per knob and all of them present fun ways to play with the sound of your guitar. It has a very cool loop funcation recording the last 14 seconds of what you played let you sent down a rythem and play lead solos over it is a blast. Its very easy to use at first but once you dive into all the 100s of presents by artists and of artists it gets a little complicated. The only problem I have with the amp is it lacks really warmth to its sound. Because of the lack of tubes the warmth or naturel feel that a tub amp would have isn't there. Not to say that it if the settings are adjusted right it doesn't have a nice sound because with the right guitar this amp shines.

Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 75 75W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

I bought this amp back in 2008 looking for a versatile modeling amp that wouldn't be to expensive. What you get for the price is fantastic. The presets are great for getting you close to some cool tones. What's surprising is the huge range of the amp. The amp doesn't have much of a bottom to it even when you adjust your guitar's tone controls. From my experience it's actually great for crunchy blues tones. But after 5 years the speaker died and after being played nearly ever day to this point is impressive. This amp would be great for a beginner guitarist

Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 75 75W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

As a previous owner of Marshall and Peavey tube amps, I have to admit the warmth and nuance of tube amplification is not quite there. But honestly, there isn't anything you can't do with this amp. The floorboard is a must if you want to maximize its potential and customize the amp to your liking. One thing I like about this amp is that the "freaky" presets are kept to a minimum. Those presets that sound kinda cool at first and then you never use them again after the novelty has gone away. What's here is useable sounds for any style of music, with quite an array of pitch sifting presets as well, if you're into that. Just about everything is tweakable to your own tastes. Even though mine is a 75 watter, I don't take it past 3, not for safety precautions, but because it's that loud. And the louder you get, the warmer the overall amp sounds. Even if I could afford a more expensive boutique amp, I just don't see my self getting rid of this.

Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 75 75W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

Good practice amp, or for small venues. If you want punch for a larger venue, go with its 150 watt big brother. However, this amp coupled with a line 6 pedalboard will allow you to rehearse effects settings without the neighbors calling the cops! Those same effects will translate to its big brother easily. Bear in mind, however, you're buying a digital amp - not a hybrid, not a tube amp. And while the line 6 does a resoectable job (especially for the price, it will not behave like a classic tube amp. For most rehearsal and small venue applications it'll be great, but don't go cheaper routes exoecting bone crunching results. Leave the heavy lifting to an appropriately sized tube amp.

Comments about Line 6 Spider IV 75 75W 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp:

I've own a Line 6 Spider IV 75W for 2+ years. The only draw back is that it will never sound like a 4X12 cabinet, it only has a 12" speaker. If you need power, just mike it you'll be amazed. Put it on top of your 4X12 cabinets, mike it and you'll look good and sound the best.

I own and tried many top of the line amps, you'd be supprised at my collection (Tubes and all). So far, this is my favourite all around amp. Sound + weight + versatility, just try to beat it. I haven't yet.
