    Delicious delays with infinite control!

The Line 6 ToneCore Echo Park effects pedal is based on Line 6's award-winning DL4 Delay Modeler. Echo Park is loaded with unbelievable sounding models including analog, tape, and digital delay, all easily adjusted with the Tap Tempo feature. Different delay patterns such as slap, ping pong, swell, and sweep can be adjusted with the twist of a knob and the Mod dial can be tweaked for even more variations. Echo Park also features stereo ins and outs.

ToneCore pedals consist of a ToneDock base--in stereo or mono--and interchangeable effects modules that snap in and out, allowing you to change effects without rearranging your pedalboard. The ToneDock is powered by a 9V battery or optional DC-1 adapter.

I bought this pedal the first day it came in at Musician's Friend, and it's never left my rig.First of all, there are 3 delay types (Digital, Analog, and Tape) and 11 delay modes. What this means is that for each of the 11 modes, you can have Analog, Digital, or Tape delay. That's a total of 33 different sounds.I run the pedal in stereo and it just shines. It's fairly quiet, durable as a tank, and the delay modes are all useable. It has normal modes like quarter note, half note, eighth note, etc. and then throws in a filter sweep mode, 3 different stereo panning delays, a ducking mode, and a kickass reverse delay. The TRAILS switch is great for ending songs and letting echoes just swirl around then smoothly dissapear. The tap tempo and MOD knob add even more tweakability. Depending on your delay type, the MOD knob adds a different type of modulation. Digital gets chorus, Analog gets a nice, convincing treble rolloff reminiscent of analog delay pedals like the EH Deluxe Memory Man, and Tape get s added "wow and flutter" that sounds so much like the real thing, even experts can't tell. IMO, this pedal blows the Boss and Digitech delay pedals away. Looking for a great STEREO Delay (sorry, MXR Carbon Copy and Way Huge Aqua Puss, both Mono) get this one. It will do everything you need it to and then some.

I recently bought this pedal and fell in love with it. It has great features and I love the tap feature on it. The swell feature is great and it has many possibilities. But here is the problem: the pedal produces a hum like it is nobody's business when it is plugged into the adapter. I first was running the power through a Visual sound daisy chain but it was buzzing. So I bought the Line 6 adapter thinking it was a phase problem or power rating. Nope, it buzzed on with Line 6 adapter also. I took it back to the store hoping it may be that pedal in particular. Nope, myself and the guitar tech there plugged in a brand spankin new one and it did the exact same thing. She said she has heard quite a few complaints about the Line 6 pedals humming/buzzing. They wired their in house display and it did the same thing. I don't want to play on batteries cause this thing eats through them and it is a pain to swap them out every time. Bottom line, if you want to play this pedal with batteries, go for it. You will not be disappointed. If you want to plug it in (which is the more convienient/economical), don't waste your money cause the pedal is very loud with that hum. Great product Line 6 but fix the wiring issue and it will be outstanding! (I traded the pedal in and got a almost new/used DL-4 which is amazing!)

Comments about Line 6 ToneCore Echo Park Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

I've owned this pedal for years and it's my favorite delay by far. This pedal has an amazing tape delay setting and modulation control. The tap temp feature and reverse echo feature are also really great. It can be a bit noisy if you use a One-Spot or similar power supply, but it's quiet if it has its own power supply. You can get some really trippy sounds from this unit.

I got one of these and a few weeks later it had no out put. I had to pay shipping to send it back to Line 6 and wait three weeks for a replacement. That was about a year ago. Now this one died too - the green light comes on, then red, then nothing. Warranty is a year so I'm out of luck and $150! That's my last Line 6 product!

Comments about Line 6 ToneCore Echo Park Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

This pedal is a fine delay pedal so many options a variations in sound you can achieve, one thing you need to look out for is that this is defiantly NOT just a plug in and play, it might be even a little much for some one who is not used to the ranges you can achieve with this thing. The thing is a tank as well its fallen of the top of my half stack so many times and its still kicking but yeah good pedal.

          Not that bad... but...

Comments about Line 6 ToneCore Echo Park Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

If you want to power your pedal using a daisy chain system, walk away right now and find something else. It uses a multi-plane ground system (whatever that means), so on your 1-spot or whatever, the noise is louder than the signal. Eats batteries like nothing else, and the L6 power supplies are flimsy, but at least they don't make noise. If you don't mind the power supply, this is a great pedal (but probably too pricey for that caveat).

I've owned the Echo Park pedal for about a year and a half. I cover Edge style of music so the dotted eigths is a must. Sounds great with a tube amp with an effects loop. The tap tempo is a must have feature. What I don't like about it is that the knobs move around too easily. If I get it dialed just right, throw it in a bag the settings get messed up. If there were a way to save about 4 setting, it would be a must have. It does suck up batteries. Never do a live gig with a battery. Been there, done that, not a good experience.

          Lots of options

Comments about Line 6 ToneCore Echo Park Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

I am pleased with the diverse setting options the echo park has. One of the reasons I chose this over the DL4 was the dotted eighth note tap option. The tap tempo is a life saver, and has not let me down yet. I usually switch between three settings, and can easily do this between songs, but would not try it in the middle of one. I would ideally like true bypass as it does take away a little tone when off, but nothing terrible.

          Great Delay for Digital

Comments about Line 6 ToneCore Echo Park Delay Guitar Effects Pedal:

This sucks a lot of power, so that might be the culprit of the "noise" people are talking about. But easily fixed with a better power supply. Great tone for a digital pedal, though. Lots of great features that are easy to use and very solid construction.
