The Markbass CMD 103H blows out room-rattling rhythms through 3 - 10" B&C designed speakers. I have used and owned 20+ top amps over the years. I loved the 102 combo but wanted a little more power. The sound is clean and this amp has the tightest sounding sub frequencies of any amp I have owned. It blows away my 4x10 Goliath and the weight is half. I wish the amp was a tiny bit smaller, so check the dimensions, but I can't imagine ever needing more at this point.
I keep the eq mostly flatland use the two sweep filters to adjust my tone. The vintage one kills some of the noise that my active bass picks up in nyc and the other filter really gives that tight low with the cutting highs for a punchy slap sound.

I was using a single 15in sub and was experiancing a muddy,bottom end sound. I wasn't getting those crispy mids as well..this amp blew me away. The 3-10 inch drivers deliverd both bottom end and tight mids...this amp delivered tight, crispy,mids and highs, as well as thundering lows...great tone and power all rolled into one amp..

This amp rocks. Its loud light and oozes tone. I have been playing bass for 25 years and this has to be hands down the best amp I have ever owned. Im super impressed with the amount of low end this amp cranks out without distorting. Even with the amp turned almost all the way down its still sounds loud. Straight out of the box the tone is amazing. I didnt even adjust the EQ. I have had some many people come up to me after a show and say how awesome the amp sounded. Im definitely converting all of my amps over to Markbass.

Markbass amps are fairly new on the market. I've tried several of their amps and have found out one thing,some people can make them sound quite good,and people like myself have a problem with getting my sound out of them. These amps are made quite well,but somewhat pricey for what they offer and to be the new kids on the block. Its takes a while to coax some good sounds from this amps. IMO if yu play funk and require a lot of hihs,this amp is not for you.the high are very limited.But overall this may appeal to the Bunny Brunel type players.

This amp has exactly what I've been searching for. It has tremendous lows and also has that "Throaty" mid that cut through with clarity. I heard a bassist that was using the Mark Bass 102P along with an Eden 410 cab that was incredible but I just didn't want to haul another cabinet. The Mark Bass 103H solved that problem and I couldn't be more pleased.
