OVERVIEW

Classic Marshall tone in a 12", straight-or-slanted cab.

The Marshall MHZ112 speaker cabinet in either straight- or slanted-front models, makes for a powerful component in any Marshall stack. This cabinet's 1x12, closed-back design follows the tried-and-true principles Marshall cabs have always followed. The speaker cab is given extra strength via finger-jointed construction, and the closed-back design ensures that even from such a small cabinet you can achieve that thick bass response and sharpness of mid tones that a Marshall cab delivers. Its Celestion G12-66 Marquee ensures that there's plenty of room to crank up your amp head and play hard without a fear of damaging the speaker.

Comments about Marshall Haze MHZ112 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

I have played through the Haze head and cabs for almost a year and have been noyhing but pleased with the sound, response, and performance if this set up. I don't understand the badmouthing of this very good sounding amp and speakers. I could use all the adjectives like chimy, spank, honk and all those colorful words that really don't mean anything. Go try one for yourself. These are awesome sound machines.

I Beg To Differ...

Comments about Marshall Haze MHZ112 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

I've owned my Haze 15 head and cabs for nine months now and can't believe someone would complain about the build quality of the cabs or the heads. Mine have been lugged around from gig to gig and have been far from babied. They still look and sound great. The build quality is every bit as good, if not better than my Vox AC 30, Fender Blues Jr Tweed or Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. The sound of the Celestian speakers are awesome. They were a bit tight at first, which is to be expected, but have opened up nicely as they've been played through. I would buy them again without hesitation.

Comments about Marshall Haze MHZ112 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

No complaint's here.
These are great little 112 cabs. Not only do they match the Haze and really look cool , they sound fantastic. I have run my Haze through a Avatar 212 , Egnater 112 And A lopo 112 wiyh a vintage 30.These cabs sound better than all the above and even a mix of the above. For picking wuth your friend's or playing on stage. i would recomend these to go along with a haze head. They may sound so good because they were made to go with this head. Very nice build quality , cant beat the look's. Plus you get a five year factory warranty , not that I expect to use it.
Very nicely finished
For the sound quality, it was a bargin.

Made of cheap chipboard. Avoid.

Comments about Marshall Haze MHZ112 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

These look cool, but the wood is junk. It's made of cheap, crappy chipboard. It should be a crime to charge this much for this thing. Luckily I got mine for much less scratch & dent and it's barely worth that. Avoid this and look at the Egnater cabs for the same price, or the Epiphone cabs for less. they are higher quality plywood.

Killer cab

By Jeffrey Hammond

from Charlotte

Comments about Marshall Haze MHZ112 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

This thing is the best. How could it be a 10? If it played my guitar for me.
Yeah, it doesn't have 4 12 s in it, and it doesn't weigh 65 lbs, but this cabinet goes great with the Haze 15 head. I got the head and the slant cab for Xmas, and went back and got the straight cab to complete the full stack. I think it sounds great, from Nirvana and AC/DC, to some soft acoustic stuff. This thing is plenty loud.....for what I do. I'm not a freaky tone geek, but I know what sounds nice, and this thing sounds nice.
How does it get any better? It's a Marshall.
Looks great, sounds great, I play more because of the amp.

Pairs perfectly in sound and looks with the matching slant-front cab and Haze 15 head. Makes for a fine mid-size stack for rehearsal and performance when higher wattage rigs with more speakers are overkill.

Comments about Marshall Haze MHZ112 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

Makes for a great looking and sounding mid-size stack when paired with the Haze 15 head, suitable for most performing purposes unless you play at crazy volumes. 16 ohm rating limits versatility, since most other brands of amp heads want to connect to 8 or 4 ohm loads.

Comments about Marshall Haze MHZ112 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

I purchased one of these for band practice so I could save the weight of carrying a 2x12 1936 or a 4x12 1960. Well, there's a weight savings. That's about it. Sound? Garbage. It made me think something is terribly wrong with my amp. After checking cords, tubes, guitars, I finally had a eureka moment...check the cab. So I changed cabs.

Legitimately the difference is a blanket over the cab in sound quality. Just night and day. Not to mention the one I received cuts in and out.

Comments about Marshall Haze MHZ112 1x12 Guitar Speaker Cabinet:

I needed the smallest & lightest cabs for my two Vetta Heads so setting up for shows or practices don't wear me or my back out.
My gig setup, a white Vetta Head with two Ibanez TSA112C cabs looks & sounds fantastic. I needed speakers for my backup black Vetta Head I keep at my family's summer place and saw these on closeout. A bit bigger & heavier, they're still easy to move and they sound and look killer with the Vetta Head sitting across both of them. These angle cabs do the trick.
