Switches from one channel to the other when you stand on it... ...what else does it need to do?, if it breaks, take off the bottom and put the wires back in the right place, ain't rocket science...
This footswitch broke really easily on me and soon after I got it the light bulb fell into the footswitch itself. Now, it switches from clean to distorted and back again whenever it wants to (which is really annoying when playing live!)
It sometimes goes to the distortion channel slightly when it is on the clean channel.
I've gone through two of these pedals. They break very easily. When they are functioning, they do their job. But they work only 3% of the time.
I have a Marshall AVT 50 and this pedal came with it. The switch was a little "sticky" from the start and it crapped out after about 30 hrs. of use. I know it's not an expensive item to replace but I would rather spend more on a quality pedal than have to replace it often.
It broke the first time i used it!
The main problem is the cord. The wires inside are tiny and break easily. It is not even worth having the marshall name on it. It is just a metal box with a switch in it. Buy the one that costs half as much (it the same thing) and you feel less regret when you have to fix it.
