The Blue Pro is a fantastically rugged, and toneful pedal. It has a good amount of headroom so it's very useful in a lot of situations. It has a thick overdrive that is great with single coils. I prefer the Blue Boy Deluxe with humbuckers.
I am a touring musician and studio musician with 30 years experience, and have had every major pedal out there. I discovered this pedal a year ago in NY while playing BB Kings. Absolutely the best pro quality Blues pedal ever. It transformed my tone from good, to over the top. It is versitle and works well with other pedals. From light growel to and beautiful open Blues concerto, it does it all. Put a tube screamer clone in front of this and prepair for tone heaven. I have since bought 2 more for my son who is a pro musician. A must have pedal for your board.
