The features are lush, the loop in particular is a blast for experimenting. Pedal inputs allow for ideas never possible with simple stomp boxes. Audio quality is fantastic- no cheap buffers here. Not a hard-wired switched bypass, but hefty wide bandwidth buffer capable of holding the tone up. Reduced internal frequency response on long delay switch setting helps keep it from getting muddy when approaching the abyss. The feedback control is very functional with pretty much infinite repaeats above 8 for a setting- you have to know how to use it to get the magic... If you have no desire to tweak or adjust or experiment, look elsewhere. This processor is the best sounding delay that is not rack-mounted and a few hundred more greenbacks. Of course I wish it cost less, but then it would be another worthless import for the disposable generation to quickly grow tired of..... Buy it if your serious about using it through a bit of reading the user manual, they did a great job.

This pedal is a complete rip off. I might pay 20 dollars for this pedal. This pedal makes way too much hiss and noise. And when you set it for infinite repeats it gets louder and louder and louder until it over loads the circuits in the pedal or kills your amp, which ever one comes first. I returned mine promptly. For 700 dollars I expected this pedal to be perfect in every way. Not even close.

You simply will not find a better sounding, better quality unit out there without going to rack-mounted product. Read the manual! This is not a stomp-box for the instant gratification crowd- you need to put a little effort into it to reap the benefit of the engineering that went into this. The input circuit is not a hard-wired switch bypass- it is an exceptional buffered input that is high-bandwidth, low-noise and the loop circuit opens up lots of experimenting... FUN. The pedal inputs are useful and a add-on pedal doesn't break the bank. Love it. Go buy an MXR analog delay if you don't like to work the Moog Mojo.... The rest of us will have the magic.

This is seriously my favorite Delay pedal, ever. I intern for Moog, and this thing has some serious power behind it. I couldn't really ask for anything more. The catch though, is that you have to know what you're doing. Please, for the sake of your own music, read the manual... it's got alot of possibilities, and won't really do anything unless you know how to work it. if you can unlock the simple design of it you can turn any instrument into an amazing new machine.
I own two of these. If you are into CV control there is no other. It is amazing sounding. This pedal is Moog quality. Instant classic effect that will be a collector's item. The loop is super fun. Insane possibilities. This delay is everything in the right seting.
After playing with this delay for a good while I was able to get some nice tones out of it, but ultimately it is not worth the heavy investment. I decided to get an AD-9 over this and am just as happy with that as I was with the Moogerfooger, plus I was able to get some nicer reverb from it as well. I own 2 other Moog pedals and I'm afraid this one just isn't worth being a third.
Well, as for me, I love it. You can get some strange tones by aadding another delay in the loop and adjusting the intensity. I also love that the repeats are controllable via an expression pedal.
This pedal is a complete rip off. I might pay 20 dollars for this pedal. This pedal makes way too much hiss and noise. This is an AWESOME delay. I would only recommend it if you plan on using expression pedals or other CV sources. It will really open up the possibilities of this pedal. There is no other delay with the CV options. The effects loop is a fantastic add on. It is so much fun. If you do not plan on using the CV inputs, then get another delay, because as you know, this thing is NOT cheap.
The amount of control you have over the shape of this effect is what ultimately makes it worth the money. The mix knob affords you complete control over the volume of both the strummed note and the delayed notes. At 5 they are both equal but at 10, your strummed note is silent and the delayed repetitions magically flutter out of your amplifier. The feedback knob is my favorite though. Turned all the way up, the delayed repetitions build up on each other into chaotic noise, and turning the rate knob at that point creates these pitch shifting, radio dialing-esque noises that I've yet to see any other delay pedal recreate. If you're like me and want as much control over your sound as possible, then this pedal is a worthy investment
I'm an active musician and have always wanted to find ways to make my guitar sound more like a synthesizer for breakdowns and dramatic effect. This delay pedal is incredible. Its expensive, yes, but no other delay gives you the incredible control this one does. Anyone familiar with Incubus most likely has heard the introduction to Pistola, with all of the strange radio-dialing-like noises Mike Einziger produces with that mysterious stage instrument he uses. This pedal can actually emulate those noises! By building the delay up to chaotic rumble with the feedback control and simply playing around with the rate knob, you can get some crazy effects going with this thing. Its not JUST a delay pedal. If you've got this much to blow on one pedal, check it out. Even if you don't, at least try it if you can find one, its the most fun thing to play around with.
