Morley and George Lynch collaborated to develop this limited edition Wah Guitar Pedal. The Dragon Wah is an Electro-Optical, switchless Wah with two wah modes; "Wah" and "Wow". The Wah mode is a standard Wah tone with a bit of gain. The Wow mode is more vocal and pronounced for more over the top Wah tones. The LEVEL knob adds up to 15dB boost in either mode.

Decked out in Orange (like the Morley Tripler) and with Lynch related graphics. Each pedal will be serial numbered and autographed with certificate of authenticity.

George Lynch is one of the most recognizable names in the world of heavy metal guitar. With a career spanning more than 30 years, George has recorded more than 20 albums, toured the entire globe many times, and is one of the most recognizable endorsees of the world's finest guitars and equipment.

I love this wah pedal. I've used a Crybaby in the past which was disappointing, I've used several modeler Wahs which always came up short. This thing nails what I was looking for. I especially love the "Wow" feature, as it allows an immediate tonal change from the usual "Wah" sound.I run my Wah in front of all distortions, and depending on how much gain I've got going on the Wah is either very pronounced or rather subtle (this, of course, depends also on the pickup selected - the more treble coming from your guitar, the more wah you get). The "Wow" effect is -NEVER- subtle, easily shaping even a quite distorted metal tone. This wah works great with cleans, too! You'll love it, but you better act fast. I ended up with #242 out of 250, but I bet they've just got the boxes shuffled up - it's still in stock.Great Morley construction and an awesome endorsement. Switchless operation is awesome, and the spring action is very comfortable. If I could add anything, it would be an adjustment to change the switchless operation's "off" timer. It stays on for about 300-400ms after you stop using the wah. This is good if you are wah'ing at the time, since you can get low without it turning off, but it requires that you learn the timing of it for when you want to quit wah'ing abruptly. It's easy to get used to, but take the time to do so.

Just picked one of these up for shoes-off-socks-only in-the-home-only use, to maintain collector's value, but I must say that Morley did not pay attention to shielding, as this thing hums like the Dickens. Even the least-expensive Dunlop doesn't hum like this. The sweep is great; outside of the hum it's a good-sounding wah pedal. I will contact Morley for repair; if that doesn't fix it, it's going to a mod shop for better wiring (because it otherwise is a pretty good design). Buy at your own risk...

Worth it for a Limited Edition pedal

By Tassel

from KC

Purchased the pedal after seeing online as a limited edition version of Morley's wah pedal lineup. Depending on how you use this within your rig will determine how much you like it. I use it along side my Bad Horsie 2 -only the Lynch model is set before my distortion pedal which gives me that boost I need to make pinch harmonics melt people opposed to having full wah effect. The wow mode delivers more spunk than the wah mode and I definately think you get better results with distorted sound over clean(in my situation). Worth the money if you have room to put it in your chain and theres only 250 being made so why not have one!!

Um, OK

By TheRustyAxe

Quality is great. Sound is different. Although the quality of the housing is great, I have wonders about the optical sensor. Mine seems to clip a little. My pedal also looks different as all the writing is just black unlike the one pictured.I also did not get a coupon for a free month of the Dojo "AS ADVERTISED". That really upsets me.

awesome!

Bought this on a whim and it rocks! Doesn't change the tone at all, it did introduce a little noise, but thats what I bought the MXR Smartgate for, absolute silence. I really like the wow mode on it, kinda reminiscent of my Zakk wah for rythms, and it also has db boost. Get one before they're gone!

As a forever Lynch fan & lacking a Wah pedal I bought this on a whim. Very pleased. The "wow" feature is very unique & quite usable. I've been experimenting with it on leads & enjoy what I'm hearing. Some noise but I can live with it.

The Wah that Stole Riffness

This pedal is a limited edition pedal that is as great as George. The only problem I found was that the pedal was lacking a bit of sweep and in the middle of pedal's travel, the wah acts suddenly instead of a more gradual, constant change. In the Wow mode (my personal favorite) you get more of a vocal and noticable wah tone. Even with its minor problems it is still a solid and great pedal.

Move over bad horsie

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

I love the range of wah and wow I get from this pedal. Before I bought this pedal I tried many different pedals from the dimebag dunlop to the bad horsie and this pedal was just the right sound I was looking for. Not many made and thats just fine with me. I've got mine.

A great wah pedal! I've owned a dunlop dimebag model and Morley bad horsie and I like this model better. Looks cool and sounds awesome. Having two modes (wah and wow)is a nice feature! Better get yours before there all gone!!!

Its a great wah wah. The optical design is phenomenal and the switchless feature is the best. Can do lots of cool rhythm stuff with this feature. There are two modes, normal and wow, although I use pretty much the normal mode the wow, produces a more vocal like effect. They both sound great. The pedal feels solid and should last a life time, not to mention that It looks cool as hell. I play in thrash metal band and It suits me great.

Nice And Unique Wah

By GuitarBri1980

from Coldwater, MI

This is not a Wah for doing Hendrix and such in my opinion. It's something to add a unique effect to your sound. Using the pedal to swell into things or holding it down for a boost or slowly moving through the range of motion creates lots of usable and neat sounds. The 2 modes are both very different and very usable. You can also add more gain with the knob for boosts during solos if you like. It's not your typical Waka-Waka sound. So if you're looking for a Wah for Hendrix or SRV I would look elsewhere. But if you want something to enhance and shape your tone creating something new, I'd recommend it.
