I play mostly rock and harder rock and this wah fits me prefectly.
I am sure its just as good for other styles as well.
I've been through a few wahs and had the Bad Horsie also.
This one is perfect for rock or hard rock wah work.
It has a boost too it and doesn't get lost in the mix like some other wahs do.
And its not to high pitched.
Finally found the perfect wah!
Outstanding quality.
Would I have liked to pay less? Of course. But based on whats out there this is a bargain.

If ear-splitting, way over-the-top highs is what you want, this is your pedal. Mosquitos flee and dogs will bark in the next county. But for me, the toe-down position is just way too trebley. That means I have to use just half the sweep of the pedal, which takes more concentration than I care to give it in the middle of a solo. I have used Morley pedals since the old 110 plug-in models of the 70's, and I love them. I bought this one to replace my trusty but busted Bad Horsie. I'm returning the Tremonti in trade for a Bad Horsie 2. Hopefully that will give me the control I need. Cheers.

Great sounding wah.

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

Bought the Mark Tremonti Wah on an impulse and I'm very glad I did. I have also used the Morley Bad Horsie II, but the Tremonti blows it away. The 20db boost is a great feature and very easy to use. I like the fact that there is no additional noise from the ubit when not in use.
I am Very satisfied.

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

I'm coming off a Dimebag wah and I thought it was great and it is, but this thing makes playing with a wah so much better. Morley has is down when it comes to wahs. I love stepping on the pedal and it activating then when I'm down I'm not pushing my foot through the floor to turn on the wah. The tonal range of this wah meets my needs like no other. Great wah
Wow this wah pedal is amazing. The boost control and step on and play is the best thing since sliced bread.
Tough medal construction, non slip pad. This thing is a work horse.
I've paid way more and have gotten a lot less. This is a bargain.

Tremonti Wah

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

I sold my Crybaby and bought this pedal after watching online reviews. I love Tremonti's tone and playing, so this is what I was looking for. I love the "step on and play" feature, and have always hated the click when playing. I don't really use this for clean, but you can (it still boosts a little bit with the boost all the way off). For solos and things like RATM, it's awesome to me. I really enjoy playing on it and think it sounds great.

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

I love the Tremonti wah and the optical design. It sounds great and the sweep and boost are great for what I play (hard rock, metal). But after about a year, I have isolated an annoying volume decrease to my Tremonti. Its not like it gets abused. Hope no one else has this problem, but think there is a problem internally.

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

This pedal is amazing, I'm switching from a Dime Crybaby wah pedal. The construction of this pedal is great I love how it doesn't have to switch to the treble side to activate and turn off the switch. The sound that this thing produces is definitely the best sound I have ever heard.

Great Wah

By PRSslinger

from Joplin, MO

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

I've had the Morley Mark Tremonti Wah for about a year now after switching from a crybaby and I couldn't be happier. It's perfect for a pronounced lead voice which is what i use it for. It has a great range with no dead spots and an addicting tone that you simply can't get from a crybaby. I've heard about people downing the switch-less design due to a delayed shut off, but this pedal has a trim pot on the inside so you can adjust the delay of the pedal turning off or make it have no delay at all. It's a very cool feature that not many people really know about i guess. I also love the boost feature on this pedal though I'd suggest not cranking the boost knob because things get a little too hairy on the high-end. I run this with a Morley Power Volume+, a T-Rex Tremonti Phaser, and an Empress Vintage Modified Superdelay through a Mesa/Boogie Stiletto Trident and a Mesa/Boogie 4X12 cab. I would definitely recommend this wah to any hard rock/metal guitarist who is looking to break away from the bland and overplayed crybaby realm. Keep Shredding!

Nice!

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

I own this. I have also owned the original Cry Baby - and this is much much nicer. If you want a wah Pedal that will give you overdriven lead tones, this pedal is unmatched. The cry baby fails to produce lead tones anywhere close to the ones this does. Mark Tremonti is the man - and this is the pedal that helps him kick behind on his PRS. You will hear this pedal on Alter Bridge's (Tremonti) "One Day Remains" album. Combine this pedal with Proco's Deucetone Rat and you will have THE best lead tone that I (at least) have ever heard. I am assuming that it is the same with the Rat 2.Buy it!P.S. I would not recommend this pedal for clean distortion. It is intended to be used for overdriven leads as it bends up to a very high treble that is kind of unpleasant to the ear when combined with a clean tone. If you're careful, it might work for this, but I wouldn't bend it too far.If you want a clean channel's wah pedal, I would recommend one of Dunlop's offering over this (ie. the original Cry Baby). If you have room on your board and $$, it might be good to grab both of them.

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

Best wah I've ever owned; I've owned LOTS of CB's from the basic to signature models, but this IS the wah I've been looking for. Great sweep; there is no sweet spot b/c its everywhere. The boost is great for high gain, but not so much for the cleans. There is a slight volume drop on cleans unless boosted (about 1/2 way solves it), but w/o the boost engaged it's great for cleans which is rare for a wah. Seems built solid; I don't foresee any issues there. Also not a huge Tremonti fan (so this isn't a fanboy review)...

I bought this pedal because I needed a wah, and I liked the fact that this one automatically turns on and off when you use it. The sound quality is good and there is a cool boost option that allows you to be heard over the rest of the band (perfect for solos).

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

There is really nothing bad I can say about this awesome pedal. The only problem I have with it is that I had the Bad Horsie one before it. That thing finally gave out after years of stomping on it. I tried to fix it myself but only made it worse. I ended up smashing it against the walll out of frustration. So being a fan of Tremonti I got his pedal. I really love it but I got so used to the slickness of the bad horsie that its taking some time to learn how to manipulate the tremonti one into doing what I want. Other than that I love it. I think I will have both in my pedal board. The Horsie and the Tremonti.

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

I like this pedal a lot. I wanted the PWB but they don't seem to sell it anymore, so I got this as an alternative. It's a great sound on a bass. It has to be directly connected to the bass, or else the sound will spike (I also have a distortion pedal.) Not saying the spike is bad, though, I like it a lot! The only problem is when you step off of it. All treble cuts off for a little less then a second. Even if you keep practicing on the delay time, it's going to affect your performance if your soloing. There might be a way to tweak it, but I think I'm not experienced enough with electronics to do that.

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

I'm amazed by this pedal. I bought it because my crybaby's pot died. I noticed that its optical so there is no pot to die on you, so I bought it. When I got it home and plugged it in, I was blown away. I love the switchless inovation because I can do quick wah sweeps inbetween main riffs to liven up a song. I also love the boost knob because I always soloed with a wah and before I had to switch to a lead channel on my amp and switch on the wah at the same time which was hard. This pedal takes care of both those problems. Now I have just enough boost for my solos and the best thing is, I don't push any switches! I just put my foot on it. This pedal has done miracles to my sound and I highly recommend it.

Comments about Morley Mark Tremonti Wah Pedal:

I just got the Tremonti Wah and swapped it out for the standard crybaby I had on my pedalboard and I couldn't be happier. I just had to step on it once to realize what I'd been missing with the Morley switchless system. I always hated how I had to sweep the wah all the way to the treble position to turn the wah off, and theres none of that with the Tremonti wah. And most of all it sounds awesome! Kick on a distortion and this thing is unbeatable! Let's face it, you're not buying this thing to play funk. The Wah Boost is also a great feature, anytime a pedal has controls on it is a plus. I've only played one band practice with this and I absolutely love it! BUY IT NOW!

This Wah is just AMAZING, take it out the box...plug it in in front of your amp/dist. pedal... and you're set! Its just unbelievable how this pedal CUTS thru! Your solos will never be the same again. I also use it in front of my twin, and is way easy to get that funk sound using a strat...what im trying to say is that this pedal is great no matter what kind of music you play. NO switch, so no worries.Buy it, you wont be dissapointed
