I use this for my own wah wah sound {instead of a machine that only gives a preset decision made that is most imposible to change on the fly}. This is the way to go to keep/get your own technics to master this world. It has not changed much in price since the last one I got for 150$ in the 80's. I used it then as my only effects pedal for live work. It was great then, and now. Even more now with all the advanced music players with such great works giving the art huge movement. You should try it after listening to some demo's first to make sure you are really ready for this effect. Myself, I like the on/off button and travel of pedal. I have tried a crybaby and others. This is my set-up preferance, and {the slim-line and size of foot space} fits my comfort zone so I can try to get more done without any distractions. I spent under 100$ For Happiness that has me re-living a wah wah that works perfect for me. This is the best wah wah ---THERE----I said it!!!

I gave this unit a shot.
Since it was the only Wah/Volume pedal in the market.
The wah sounds okay but it cuts the sustain on my 5150.
The volume is worse.
The amp loses its balls at lower levels.
It acts more like an expression pedal than a true volume pedal.

Volume Pedal??? NO ON/OFF switch

Comments about Morley Power Wah Volume Pedal:

I thought I was buying a volume pedal? turns out it's an on/off switch. The entire volume level happens in one micro movement of the pedal somewhere
in the middle of the movement of the pedal. You need to fix this!!! A volume pedal should have a continuous increase in volume as the pedal is depressed. NOT THE CASE HERE.

Good Features in a small package

By astrumr

Comments about Morley Power Wah Volume Pedal:

What's good: Volume and Wah in one pedal, LEDs (no pots) for quiet, reliable operation. Not so good: Volume is touchy, feedback when using wah. I bought this because it gave me volume and wah in one pedal, saving room on my pedal board. The wah won't make you sound like Slash, but I don't use a wah that much in my music, so this is fine by me. Out of the box I didn't like the volume taper, but I changed it by filing the aperture that the LED shines through. Much easier to control volume now. The feedback sometimes happens with my humbuckers and hollow-body guitars, not with my single coils. I just to use the volume knob on my guitar to control it better.

Comments about Morley Power Wah Volume Pedal:

I have had several Cry Babies and Vox's, in the past, but I think this Morley pedal is the best sounding of all of them. With the guitar gain turned up to 10 and a good fuzz pedal with lots of sustain you get a clear distinct sounding wah. Some of the other pedals I have had seem to act like volume pedals when you use them with a lot of distortion. If your used to playing a Cry Baby or a Vox this pedal takes some getting used to because the amount of pedal travel required to get a good wah sound is small compared to the more conventional pedals since this pedal uses an optical device to achieve the wah sound. When I first got this pedal and I started playing my favorite songs it sounded kind of cheesey until I adapted to the pedal and reduced the amount of up motion on the pedal.

          Morley Power Wah Volume

          By RebbeSoul

          from Israel

Comments about Morley Power Wah Volume Pedal:

I just picked up this pedal and have used a Dunlap volume pedal and Cry Baby wah-wah in the past. The Morley is much quieter due to its optical circuitry. The wah wha sounds really good too. In fact, I actually prefer it to my Cry Baby. The volume pedal needs some kind of a taper or adjustment for the sweep sensitivity though. As far as I can tell there is no way to adjust it. My Dunlop is far superior in that regard.

          maybe mine was bad?

Comments about Morley Power Wah Volume Pedal:

This is one of the most solid wahs I have ever used. It also has very good tone. The only problem is that there is no actual 'sweep' because there is no middle tone its either one tone or the other so it would work better as a tone pedal than a wah. The volume part works reasonably well.

Comments about Morley Power Wah Volume Pedal:

i got this pedal not too long ago and i have to say its a pretty good pedal. After comparing it to a crybaby, i found that the wah on this was more pronounced. the volume is a little touchy but still works fairly good. My only complaint is that whenever i switch from volume to wah, i get a large abount of feedback and really loud hissing. maybe its just mine, Im probably gonna get it checked out anyway. But other than that it's a really good pedal and is just as good as some double the price.

AWESOME SOUND, VERY HARD TO USE

          By Anonymous

Comments about Morley Power Wah Volume Pedal:

I recently ordered this pedal from my local music store, and as soon as I heard it, I was amazed. Its a very nasally sounding pedal, which was what I wanted. But there were a few things I noticed that I didnt like. First, as soon as I got home with it I noticed that it was a wah/volume pedal, I had order just the power wah its self this is no big deal really, I dont see the need in any volume pedal anyways. Second, the volume mode is not that good because theres so little middle range, its basically off or full. Third and most disapointing, the switch is on the side, and it makes turning it off and on a hard process. For the music I play, its vital that th wah is switched on as soon as possible for playing lead. But I'm sure after practicing with it, this problem will be solved. I hope. Other than those things this pedal is amazing. Its sounds better than any other wah pedal out there, its built to last (its huge and weighs atleast 10 pounds), but again is hard to use. Dont be discouraged just try it out.
