Morley

Gives you 2 kinds of volume adjustment.

The Morley Volume Plus was developed from many user requests for a switchable Minimum Volume control. Minimum Volume control allows users to use the volume guitar pedals for either a Lead/Rhythm pedal or a standard Volume control pedal. Electro-Optical Volume footpedal is consistent and studio quiet (no pots to wear out). AUDIO taper allows smooth volume control or violin type swells. Minimum Volume knob is used for a smooth transition between rhythm and lead volumes. Works with Guitar, Bass, Keys or any other instrument you need to control volume on.

Some found it inconvenient to have to turn down the Min Vol knob and then have to reset it when using either function. Now, the Minimum Volume feature is foot switchable so it can easily be used as Lead/Rhythm pedal or Volume pedal.

Features

  • Switchable Minimum Volume control
  • AUDIO taper allows smooth volume control or violin type swells
  • LED indication, easy access battery compartment.
  • Works with Guitar, Bass, Keys or any other instrument needing volume control

Features:

So to be perfectly honest i absolutley detested this thing when i first got it! The sound went from nothing to about 50% instantly and i couldn't believe a morley product could be so bad! I did some reading and found out you can calibrate it by moving a couple led's inside.. After i did that... WOW this thing is seriously amazing! volume swells that are smooth as butter and because its optical you never have to worry about dirty pots or broken strings! This pedal nails it right on the head!

Go to morleys website and figure out how to calibrate this pedal before you use it!

The minimum volume feature isnt of a whole lot of use to me because i own a 3 channel tube amp.. but its cleans up the od1 quite nicely if you roll it back enough!

Quality:

Metal construction, optical mechanism.

Value:

Lower priced by far compared to lesser quality models!

Overall:

LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Dont listen to the haters! This is probably one of the best Volume pedals out there.

Very sturdy and solidly built, this pedals feels very smooth.

As for the taper, ITS AJUSTABLE. The people that say that the taper is too choppy have obviously not read the manual! You can adjust the taper from linear to audio and anywhere In between.

The only downside that I can think of is that It takes up alot of room on your board, but subsequently, that means you have better control of it because of the increased surface area that it provides. Also, It uses an optical system, instead of the traditional string, (like Ernie Ball Volume Pedals) which means your not going to be needing to replace broken strings and Volume pots.

Overall, I highly recomend this pedal if you're not worried about it taking up a little more space than other Volume pedals. Morley does Volume Pedals right!
