Switch out the power tubes for a different palette of tones!

The Rockerverb 100 MK II tube head builds on the proven Rockerverb formula and improves the tonal range available to players.

This 100W, all-tube, two-channel head offers the ability to switch from the stock EL34 power tubes to 6L6s, KT88s, or 6550s, giving you access to an incredible array of rich tube sounds.

The Rockerverb 100 MK II's clean channel delivers a super-rich tone with beautiful harmonic overtones. It's also a non-master channel, much like on a vintage Orange amp, so when the amp is cranked the power section will break up and deliver delicious, classic British crunch that's perfect for rock and blues.

The Dirty channel on the Rockerverb 100 MK II is no one-trick pony. Going from full gain and winding back gives you a variety of classic Orange tones. Whether you're looking for metal, fusion, blues, rock, or even country the Rockerverb 100 MK II doesn't fall short.

The Rockerverb 100 MK II also comes standard with footswitchable reverb and an FX loop.

Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Rockerverb 100 MK II 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

Alright. Here is my review of my Orange Rockerverb MKII. Before I dissect this incredible amplifier, let me tell you a bit about myself. I am the rhythm guitarist and lead singer for a Pop/Punk and Metalcore band. I have been playing guitar for 12 years now, and my band is a touring band. We play large clubs and basements and wherever we can find gigs. My guitar is a PRS Mira, and my cab is a Marshall 1960B As a lead singer, I did not want an amp that would overpower everything else, or sound muddy. So in my research, and playing several tube heads, I stubbled across Orange. They are a very selective company, and only the best guitarists/bands have chosen to use them. When I first tried the 100w version, I was blown away. Not by how loud it is (trust me, it is as loud as a Mesa Dual Rec, but by how well it sounds at bedroom volume. It maintains the tone as you increase the volume, and nothing is lost. The gain is purely structured around heavy metal/metalcore music, but is also INCREDIBLE with bright, pop punk and classic rock. The clean channel is also great, but I expect youre buying this amp for the dirty channel, not the clean. The reverb is hugely unnecessary, and I find myself hard pressed if I ever bring it past 8 oclock on it. The 3-band EQ is fantastic, but I run mine with a little more bass and mid than treble, because I want a warm rich tone, not a bright and shrill tone. This amps possibilities are endless. It is incredible on recordings, and you will find you dont need a lot of post EQ or compression on it. The amp is lighten than most 100 watt tube amps, and it is highly durable and portable. If you are an experienced tube amp player, you know that your amp gets REALLY hot after a long session of playing. The benefits of Orange amps are that there is a grille vent on the top of the amp that allows heat to escape. As we know, most amps have the grilles in the back, but Orange has both! These amps were designed for gigging in mind, and there is no shortage of power or tone with Orange. This amp is 10x more durable than any new Marshall, and the tone is 5x better. I am going to finish with some advice a guitarist of a fellow band said when commenting on my gear; "Orange does not make anything bad"

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Rockerverb 100 MK II 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

This Amp is my Holy Grail amp! That sound in your head? This amp does it all! A clean channel with loads of headroom, and a versatile dirty channel with 4 stages of gain. You can go from a nice clean country sound to a full on Metal onslaught of gain. And the clean channel starts to get a bit of touch sensitive overdrive at about 75% volume Add a bit of the reverb and the clean channel really chimes. At about 1 o'clock on the gain knob, the amp starts to hum at higher volume. You'll need a noise suppressor if you're gonna be using it for high gain. Active Pickups might help with this a bit. I Run a Gibson SG Special that I've swapped pickups out of to the 490r & 498t I run my dirty channel at 75% Volume and 55% Gain During practices and it sounds perfect for like an alternative or indie rock tone! This thing is a tank. The top handle is ok for carrying it, but I usually carry it by the two handles on the front chassis. Two hands carrying is a must, its pretty heavy. Overall this amp has met every expectation I had for a great tube amp.

This head is heavy keep the chiropractor on speed dial. At 100 Watts it has the power of a freight train. Sounds fantastic!!!

    Unique, amazing tones.

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Rockerverb 100 MK II 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

This amp was everything I was looking for. It is able to achieve any style or tone imaginable and does it with its own very unique voicing. I have played and owned many tube amplifiers and each have there plus and minuses, with the rockerverb the tone dominates any other amp I have played. Each note is prestinely clear, every note in a chord is incredibly defined and articulate. the spring reverb is awesome. The mids on this amp sound incredible at any range and are very useful. I have nothing but good things to say about this amp. If you play metal you will need an overdrive pedal or e. It can achieve a very dark, organic, great tone for metal but will need a bass, treble and gain boost if your trying to achieve an extreme metal sound. I use a line 6 M9 and it definitely beefs the amp up with the additional eq options. Buy this amp if you want an extremely articulate, tonally rich, unique sound.
A straight forward interface-vol, gain, lows, mids, highs, reverb. You can swap out power tubes and try 6l6's, Kt88's, EL34's, etc. Comes stock with Ruby tubes which sound amazing. Very simple amp but can achieve a huge range of tones easily. My only complaints for the entire amp is there is only one gain knob for both channels, and there should be more bass and treble on tap, granted Orange amps are known for their darker tone.
EXTREMELY high quality amp. You will not find a better made, sturdy durable amp than this. This thing is a freakin brick. I have never been so impressed with the build quality and tonal quality of an amp.
Great value, oranges are such a unique and well respected amp.

    This amp is AMAZING!!!

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Rockerverb 100 MK II 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

I had seen Orange Amps around for years but never really paid too much attention to them nor had I ever played one. I had heard that the updated the Rockerverb and listened to a couple of demo's on youtube. It got me real curious. So 3 weeks ago today I was driving home from work and I remembered a local guitar shop that I knew carried Orange. So I stopped by and went back to the Orange room and plugged a nice Les Paul Classic in. Almost immediately I found both a clean and dirty tone that I absolutely loved. I continued to play for about half an hour and knew then and there that this amp had to come home with me. I was actually planning on buying a Mesa the next day. I have always played Boogies but to be quite honest I think this amp is a hell of a lot easier to dial in and I love the way this Rockerverb sounds vs my old Mesa Roadster. If you want a bad ass amp that sounds good at high or low volumes buy this amp!
Only reason I don't give it a 10 for features is that I wish it had either a solo boost or tuner out. But I suppose that's because I'm used to Mesa's. Aside from that this thing has everything you need. Awesome reverb, great clean tones, and awesome crunch with lots of gain on tap!
This baby is solid! Granted I've only had it a few weeks. Very good quality and I expect it will last many, many years!
I didn't buy it from this website, but I got a great deal on it and even if you were to pay a couple hundred more than the price here on this website it's a great value. Pricey, yes, but an incredible professional level amp.

    Awesome, Awesome amp

    By Wunderwhirl

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Rockerverb 100 MK II 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

I bought my MKII about 4 months ago and i'm still in awe at how good it sounds! I play in a rock power trio and my previous amp (a Marshall SS mg100 halfstack) just wasn't cutting it. I tried out a few Marshall tubes that all sounded meh to me. They seemed limited in tonal capabilities and I tinkered forever trying to get a usable tone. I then tried a Mesa head and I think it was too aggresive for my tastes. Finally, the guy at the music store plugged me into one of their 100watt Orange heads and I fell in love! No matter how I dialed in the settings, the tone and punch was there! The clean channel was sparkily and crisp and the dirty channel had all the british crunch I could ask for. I walked out that day with the head and the matching cab and I haven't looked back. My band sounds fuller than ever and I have never been happier with my tone on all of my guitars. The one con though: Orange makes one heavy head! It says 60lbs but it feels heavier. But hey, usually, the heavier it is, the better quality in my experience.

    Fantastic Amp!

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Rockerverb 100 MK II 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

I just picked this amp up about 4 days ago. I wasn't even planning on buying an amp that day. I just wanted to demo it. I had never played an Orange prior to then. I had heard great things about the new Rockerveb MKII's. I plugged a Les Paul into it and almost instantly found tones I loved. On both channels. I took it home and plugged it in and found more tones I loved. This amp is capable of all sorts of different tones, and in my opinion it blows away my Mesa Roadster. Buy this amp and you will not be disappointed.

    CRISP AND CLEAN!

    By myspace.com/rumblepakpa

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Rockerverb 100 MK II 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

This amp is awesome. I also own a Marshall TSL100 and a Mesa Dual Rectifier, and neither of them own up to the Orange. The Orange makes the other amps sound almost solid state! It sounds super crisp! In recordings, it can't be beat by the others, if you're trying to get a nice, clean, processed sounding recording. You really don't need to EQ anything after being recording. I'd highly recommend this Amp. The other downside is that it weighed nearly 60lbs! On the other hand, the heavier, the better build in my experience.
