I have a Classic 30 and I love the tone and versatility in such a small amp. I have to be able to switch to overdrive on the fly. At first, it bothered me that the boost function wasn't available on the foot-switch, however, the boost is more of an over all setting and, I can control the volume with the pre and post settings on the amp. My only concern is the angled connector. On the one hand, being an old style, (metal with two screws holding it together.) I could repair it if necessary. On the other hand, I don't want to have to. We'll see how it goes. My bottom line is: It seems to work fine and, I need this for performance and, it's not like I'm touring so, I'll just be careful with it.

I've had my Peavey Classic 50 since 1995 and it has been my primary amp. After all of that use my original foot switch stopped working. Not bad! The construction on this unit is a bit cheesy compared to the footswitches on my Fender and Egnator with the buttons have a sort of latchy feel when depressed. But the unit has always done what it needed to do; -- make it easy for me to swtich channels and turn the verb on and off.

Comments about Peavey 2-Button Stereo Footswitch:
Use this with my Classic 30. Seems good, not to worried about the plastic body, I am easy on stuff and it stays at home most of the time. Took me a bit to figure out that the amp must switched to the lead channel for the footswitch to work. Also, I wish it had a boost function as well. I like that my footswitch matches my amp, thats the main reason I went with this 2 button switch.

Comments about Peavey 2-Button Stereo Footswitch:
Peavey still makes these for their older SS amps like the Bandits, Express, etc.
Their product support is priceless also. I wish that they used metal for the casing instead of plastic but at least they still make these.

Comments about Peavey 2-Button Stereo Footswitch:
I purchased this item to go with my Peavey Classic 50 Amp. It works as it was designed. The only addition I would add would be LED's to let me know when it is engaged.
Comments about Peavey 2-Button Stereo Footswitch:
Note the free shipping and recieved it in 3 days
I was surprised to find this at such a low price, I looked around a little and refused to pay what various businesses were asking but at this price it was a must do. The unit works perfectly and generates no noise. I would have given it a better rating but with no indicator light, 8 is as high as I could go. Ya gotta pay for the light! (Note- This was for the 112 Peavey bandit)
Works perfectly
Had to have it to switch channels and now can kick rev on and off
Comments about Peavey 2-Button Stereo Footswitch:
I got this unit to go with a Peavey Classic 30. It doesn't switch the boost setting. Only overdrive and reverb. I think this may be because the boost also has more gain so, you'd have to go to the amp to adjust it manually anyway. I anticipate using the footswitch for smaller gigs when I don't use my peddle board.
It's got two buttons...channel and reverb. This does not switch the boost/gain setting
Plastic case. I'm putting it on my peddle board for club gigs so, should be fine. The connecting chord is plenty long with an old fashioned angled metal 1/4" jack.
I went with 7 because it was a reasonable price. I've been using it at rehearsal. So far, so good. I haven't used it for a gig yet so, we'll see how it goes. I think if I don't let any drunks on stage to stumble over it, I won't have any problems.
