These cabs are awesome .I own two of these and one of them will eat an ampeg svt810e cab.It has a ton more low end and it has the horn for the high's.It will shake your pant legs all night long I use an Ampeg SVTIV Amp and its AWESOME.I bought one of these when they first came out sold it and regreted it.I searched forever to find the two i own. They don't make these anymore, but if you find one buy it you wont be sorry!!!!

I finally found the sound that I have been looking for. I use the Peavey 700 watt head with this cabinet and most places we play I can only turn up to 4, 5 on the volume control knocks the shot glasses off the bar! For over 15 years I have been trying to get the "sound" and I finally found it, this rig and a Fender American Deluxe Precision 5-string. Between the e-q on the head and bass I was able to do away with all the processors. I tried the ?light weight? bass rigs but they do not have the punch this cabinet delivers. I get brighter, lower and better tones than I did with my two 10?s, one 15? and an 18? sub that was crossed over. It is a little heavy but the extra weight is worth the sound.
i was a little hesitant about peavey bass cabinets and heads, but the sound quality of these are amazing...i have two of them that are ran by a peavey max700 head and the range of tones are just unbelieveable and unquestionable.....definately a quality buy
