I went round and round for a long time wondering what pedal board to buy. The Pedal Pad AXS kept grabbing my eye because it looked so well designed. However, the price was high and usually you want to spend your money on the pedals, not the board. I finally broke down and bought it because I didn't want to get stuck with something hard to use and carry around, then have to buy something better later. Well, it was well worth the money. I play twice a week and I need to have a quick, clean setup. The AXS is near perfect. There are so many different ways to set up your stuff. For me, the choice was between the AXS and the powered pedal board from SKB. The reason I picked the AXS is because of the slant of the board and the space underneath. The slant makes it so easy to hit the right pedal and to see the pedal faces clearly. Believe me, this makes a huge difference!Oh yeah, and you may think a soft case is perfectly fine, but think again. Imagine having to re-dial in your pedals after you've packed it around because the case caused them to move. Something to think about.
This is a very solid pedal board, the first thing I did was drop it (accidentally) and it didn't even get a scratch. It holds all of my pedals securely, and even has enough room in the lid to hold my grossly oversized Moog expression pedals. The flip-up pedal surface is convienient for storing a power supply but doesn't really have enough room for a wall wort. Over all its a very affordable board with a very professional look. Highly recommended.
Worth every cent! No regret. Tons of space on board as well as under neath. Don't waste money on any other boards with or without built in power supplies. Pick up a Godlyke. No hum at all. Thanks Pedal pad / Godlyke
This is such a great product. I have had many many pedalboards, and this is the greatest. It keeps my pedals safe, and easy to travel with.
This board rocks. it reduced my set up time by about 5 min. this gives me time to get a beer before we go on. get one get a beer ..
The only problem with this pedal board (it's really not the boards fault, though) is that if you put any transformers (a.k.a. wallwort) underneath, it makes all your gear buzz. That's the nature of a transformer though. Good concept to hide all your cords and power underneath, but in reality, it's a little more challenging. I put a transformer underneath without thinking about it, I've never had my wah pedal sound so BAD. Oh-well, overall the board is awesome, just takes a little work (as usual) to get gear set up right.
You can't go wrong with this one. Use the god-lyke adapter with it and their is no 60 cycle hum at all. Money welll spent!!
Is a straight-forward Pedalboard without any complicated or extra stuff you dont need. Arranged correctly, you can fit almost 12 to 13 pedals.
Cool pedal board. Has plenty of space for a powerstrip and all the cables.
The perfect size! Add your own wood planks and surround them with velcro tape if you want the upper level section of this board to stand a little higher. Lost mine in a fire :( I'll buy it again later!
