A stompbox pedal that offers warm, smooth studio quality compression.

The Plush Compressor Pedal uses an actual real photocell—just like vintage recording studio compressors. In addition, the Royal Plush has a simple signal path and audio chips that are selected for tone. A unique dual-polarity power supply means a very wide and distortion-free clean signal swing, no coupling capacitors—and their sonic loses—in the signal path either.

The Royal Plush delivers a clean, colorless boost, as well as providing a warm, smooth compression free of pumping or unnatural artifacts. Plush uses true hardwire bypass and premium parts throughout the Royal Plush. Volume and bias (compression) controls set your compression from a soft limiting effect to an extremely compressed output, at unity or boosted gain levels.

Designed and built by Fuchs Audio Technology, the Royal Plush Compressor is a unique design which employs a photocell to achieve a smooth studio grade compression without distortion or audible side-effects. The compression is smooth and effortless, while retaining the purest guitar tone. The audio chip is chosen for low noise and distortion. The power supply features a unique charge-pump converter which converts the incoming + 9-volts to a minus 9-volts to provide 18 volts of power for maximum headroom and signal swing. This minimizes the use of coupling capacitors in the signal chain.

Effect pedal features: a cast aluminum housing, industrial powdercoat finish, heat-cured silkscreen labeling, true-bypass, Cliff switch, Neutrik connectors, metal shaft controls, premium boutique quality passive components selected for tone, mil spec fiberglass two-sided circuit board construction for consistent long-term performance, and a 5-year warranty. Plush FX pedals are made in the USA by Fuchs Audio Technology, a respected manufacturer of boutique guitar and bass amps.

Do Not Buy!
This thing sounded pretty good when I first got it but 1 year and 2 month later it fried! The inside smells like an electrical fire and it does not work! I think I'm going with MXR! Don't buy this pedal it is way over priced and doesn't last!
