Great amp for beginners

By cummingb

from Ann Arbor, MI

Pros

  • cheap
  • Decent Volume For Wattage
  • Good Clean tone
  • Simple

Cons

  • Disappointing Overdrive
  • Effects Are Okay

Best Uses

  • Beginners Only

This was my first guitar amp when I was starting out on electric guitar. I bought it not knowing if I was going to stick with guitar or not, but after about a year of playing I upgraded to a Blackstar ID:60. This amp was perfect for what I needed it for. It's clean, small, and cheap. If you are just starting or trying out guitar, this amp is perfect for you. If you've been playing for even a little while, save the money and just upgrade right away.

Nice clean tone, but the overdrive is a joke

By nave890

from PA

I got this for around 60$, it was my first amp. I was disapointed with the overdrive, but when playing clean it is great. The chorus and reverb effects are nothing special. I would suggest this only for beginners.
