Lots of tone and tweakability without back-breaking weight!
Rocktron's Rampage 100 is a 100 watt bass guitar amp with plenty of punch. Designed with a 15" speaker and a tweeter in a new "kick-back" design, Rocktron's exclusive Dynamic Limiting eliminates worry about overloading and "woofing out" the speakers. Jam on and let the band know you're there!
The Rampage 100 offers a four band EQ section providing treble, middle frequency, middle level and bass. The frequency control knob adjusts the midrange EQ sweep. The Level control will adjust the overall output of the frequency - a very useful feature that allows the bassist to dial in all sorts of tones.
Use the line out from the internal preamp to connect to other outboard equipment such as an additional power amp or PA system. The headphone output automatically disconnects the speaker to practice in private, and can also be used for direct recording. The Rampage 100 amplifier includes an effects loop, and the effects loop return can be used as a stereo CD input (RTS) for practicing along with your favorite CDs!

I purchased this bass amplifier last year to have something to practice on. I'm rather impressed with it considering that it is a 100 watt amp.Pros:good outputdual inputsheadphone jackline-outcd-inuses standard power cordgood range of tonescons:dynamic limiting kicks in easily with active bassesdoes not tolerate temperatures below 65 degrees (gets a strange vibrating sound from the voice coil of the speaker)This amp has a great variety of tonal capabilities to get great sound for both active and passive basses. Output volume isn't a problem as this amp has power to spare. It may be a 100w amp, but setting the volume and gain to about 25% each is enough to vibrate a small room. Whether you're a bedroom virtuoso, or a gigging bassist that needs an amp for band practice, this amp will suit the bill nicely.
My bass player purchased this combo a few days ago. It is great! I wasn't sure if this thing was going to be loud enough for our band but trust me this thing can get really loud. The tweeter is a nice thing to have aswell. The only thing I don't like about this amp is the mids. As soon as you start rolling the mid level knob you notice the sound it makes (it's not a good one). So my bass player keeps the mids completely off and it sounds great. Also has an effects loop on the back.
