Comments about Rocktron Tri Wah Selectable Mode Wah Pedal:
Right out of the box it was very noisy when it was on; a high- pitched whirring that wouldn't go away regardless of mode setting. I thought it might be the pedals I run through after it so I went direct to the amp from the wah and the noise was still there. I can't use and I can't return it cause I let the return window close but I'll have to replace it or hassle with an "authorized service center".

What more could you want in a Wah pedal? I really like mine and use it alot. I used to have a crybaby fasel classic wah, and disliked it so much I never used it. It seems like the crybaby pedals have too much treble at the top end of the sweep. The sweep on the tri wah is perfect. The normal setting I use for playing high gain solo work, and the classic setting is great for use with a clean guitar tone and is definitely more Hendrix like. The price is reasonably and the quality of the pedal is just as good as higher dollar wah pedals. If you are looking for a wah pedal, look no further. Unless of course you like to look anyway like I do. Musicians friend is so addictive. I love getting stuff from them in the mail!! It makes my day.

I'm usually not a fan of pedals that don't have many knobs to tweak, but the Tri Wah has three awesome settings as-is. This was the only wah I could find that offers a modern sound with a modest price tag. It's cool that it has a classic mode, and my dropped-C tuned guitar sounds sweet in the bass mode. My only complaint is that the bottom isn't flat because the battery door sticks out about a millimeter, which makes velcroing it to my board not an option - but that's not a big deal, I just have to take it off the board during transportation.

This is my first Wah, but I have used Crybaby's multiple times. I bought this because I play both Bass and guitar, and it works great for both, but I'd have to say the guitar is better. It has 3 settings: normal, classic, and bass. Normal is the Wah you would hear in almost any modern music, and is great when playing higher notes, especially when used with tapping or solos. Classic feels nice when playing normal rhythms, very hendrix-like. I've used the bass, but not as much. The bass is slightly sensative, but that just takes tinkering and practice.

Impressive. I had a morley classic wah and I bought this for kicks, wow I was blown away at the ranges this wah covers. The normal setting sounds good for solos with distortion, the classic just plain sounds good for everything, and the bass setting is good for a phaser effect while playing clean chords. Hands down the best bang for price. If you want something a little more professional go with the morley bad horsie, but this pedal is a serious contender.

I love this pedal. It has a good normal channel and the Classic channel is fun to play around with. this thing is built like a tank! I bet ive dropped it about 5 times and it never looks any differnt when i pick it up. So if your looking for a affordable wah pedal...this is the one to get.
