Comments about T-Rex Engineering Fat Shuga Boost with Reverb Guitar Effects Pedal:

I was scared seeing the label on the back saying "used power adapter..." however I opened it up to find a 9v battery hookup. If you use a battery, there is all but no room to fit the battery in w/out cramming. After four uses it made the "dive-bomb" sound and started thumping, not to mention the reverb no longer worked. The difference between the hall and room is negligible. Went to exchange it and the pedal guy tried out a new one for me and said he wouldn't recommend it either. BAD build quality and design. The reverb level knob feels very flimsy as well. C'mon "T REX Engineering", use the last part of your name. Good sound, if it continued working though.

Comments about T-Rex Engineering Fat Shuga Boost with Reverb Guitar Effects Pedal:

This has the best tone I've been able to get out of an overdrive pedal and the reverb is very adjustable and versatile.I have owned a tube screamer, big muf and DOD distortion pedals.Used with my excelsior amp the Fat Shuga gives me all the tone I need with clarity and rich harmonics. If you are looking for heavy distortion look elsewhere, but if you want rich natural sounding break up look no further!

Comments about T-Rex Engineering Fat Shuga Boost with Reverb Guitar Effects Pedal:

This pedal seems so simple, yet makes such a HUGE difference in tone quality. It's gotten me back to playing jazz again because of the fat sugary clean tone that it produces. I have loved the EP Booster for years, and when I added this Fat Shuga to it, it's just perfect for soloing - both on electric and acoustic too! The added reverb gives you just enough of a cloud to lift your solos into surrealness. I didn't know my old Ibanez semi-hollow was capable of producing these kinds of woody tones until I add some Fat Shuga. And last weekend at a gig with my acoustic duo, my melodies were just singing! I love it, and beleive me, I've tried a LOT of boost pedals!

There are pedals half the price that will do the same thing. This is a good reverb pedal but too expensive.
