Comments about TC Electronic Transition Delay Pedal:

This pedal was exactly what I was looking for. It is both versatile and compact. The four presets made in conjunction with guitar center are fantastic. I especially enjoy the FAT setting.

I was looking into getting a pedal that had a tap tempo feature such as the nova repeater or the Line6 Echo Park. This pedal does everything I need with the Strum Tempo feature which is very unique. I almost now prefer it to a tap tempo.

I use this mostly for home studio recording. I have also used it as outboard gear while mixing. This may seem nontraditional over using a plugin delay, but I find the sounds very warm and analogue-esk to add a nice flavor to recordings.

The only thing I wish this pedal had was a custom preset we could save and recall as consumers. Although the toneprint function does fill that need to a degree. I don't need it as desperately as some because i don't play live as often. I have plenty of time to tweak before I hit record.

Comments about TC Electronic Transition Delay Pedal:

Really cool set of delays. There is only a subtle difference between some of them, but they are all very usable. The video really does hit all the key notes about this thing, though it does lack emphasis on how cool the tone print technology is. Very very neat. I really like the "morph" setting and the fact that you can use the tone print app to "beam" different delays, and even a chorus effect to the pedal.

One thing I haven't seen anyone mention is that on the "reverse" setting, you can turn down the feedback knob and get a wet only signal. If it's about 9 o clock or higher you get a dry signal in with it, which is really cool that it does both.

Also with the tone prints, the knobs don't always adjust the same parameters. Like if the tone print you put on there has a chorus or vibrato, you can turn the feedback knob or the delay knob and it will adjust the speed of the vibrato or the depth of the chorus.

Overall it's a great pedal, and a great sounding pedal with many more options than others in this price range. I highly suggest playing one in Guitar Center if you can so that you can compare it to the Flashback delay first hand.

You can never have too many delays. You might be able to use too many at once, but you can never have too many, lol.
