Sans Amp sounds with greater connectivity, easy onstage switching, and programmability!

Tech 21 makes the Bass Driver Deluxe for bassists who like to switch it up on stage. The SansAmp Bass Driver Deluxe is an excellent live tool for the tone-hopping, preset-stomping player. The Deluxe is all about fast delivery of monster Tech 21 bass tones in the fray of a live performance. You can plug the Bass Driver Deluxe directly into the board for premium tones without miking, or directly through the house PA without using a separate amp. But for even more planet-dominating sound, set the Bass Driver up with a power amp, speaker cab, and then through the house PA.

Dual inputs enable two instruments to be on-line and ready to go with a pop-free selector. You can program three custom tones for each input, or use all six for a single instrument. You can also program the FX loop to engage your favorite effect with a particular setting and the Deluxe will bring it every time that preset is selected. The fat, funky tones of the SansAmp Bass Driver series are incredible. With an all-analog signal path, 2 inputs, 6 presets, a programmable effect loop, and parallel/tuner out, the stage-optimized Deluxe is a great weapon in the quest for great grooves in live performance.

Incredible

Comments about Tech 21 Bass Driver Deluxe:

I play a Fender P Bass Special and an upright with a Fishman pickup. When I bought it I had a Marshall MB 4210. When I used my upright with the Marshall, my tone was to punchy and decayed to quickly. This pedal was the solution. The controls are simple but super effective. The Gain nob gives a great overdrive sound at around 8 O'clock and is much warmer than a digital pre-amp's distortion. The included A/B switch feature was also a huge factor in my decision to buy this. This feature allowed me to easily switch between my upright and electric. This pedal is basically indestructible. The casing is metal and the knobs are smooth but don't get moved by bumping the pedal while on the stage. The Level and Gain nobs have a very handy feature to them. If you change the setting of these nobs, the initial change will be gradual. This avoids a sudden spike in volume if the knob is set for one preset at 7 O'clock and you want to change it for a preset set at 4 O'clock, the slightest move of the knob won't cause a huge volume change, risking your speakers. Overall... incredible!

Comments about Tech 21 Bass Driver Deluxe:

If you own a solid state bass amp, or just tired of hauling large amps to venues.... then this is the pedal for you. No set up needed, controls are easy to use, and the preloaded sounds are incredible and the features are great. I currently go from my output and bypass my amphead, and then run the XLR output to the drummer's mixer. Running directly to the PA from the XLR is great too for when you just wanna bring your pedal to a gig and run through the house PA. The dual inputs, parallel out, are great too. Thing is built like a tank!
