The Trace Elliot 1518 bass cabinet has a specially voiced 15" Celestion speaker. Enhanced connectivity includes 2 Neutrik Speakon and 2 - 1/4" jacks. The cabinet has been tuned to 38Hz with an unobstructed bottom slot to deliver superb low-frequency reproduction. Solid construction including steel protective corners and shockmounted steel grille. 500W handling.

Being a strict 4x10 cab user in the past, I returned to Trace Elliot and purchased the 1518 cab to upgrade my tone. Suspect of Trace/Peavey quality today verses Trace of the past, my fears quickly evaporated after receiving and plugging into the 1518.Construction and hardware is top notch, and the tone is out of this world. Tight, punchy, full and round. In retrospect, I wish I had this 15" a long time ago.Another added bonus, it only weighs 55-lbs! Easy to lift, no wheels needed, and no extra expense for those pricey neodymium speaker rigs.
